As it is written inside the bracket, 'Chaozhou Ancient City', it misleads one to think that it is 'inside' the Ancient City' itself, but once one finds out that it is not, one becomes very disappointed! Cleanliness is acceptable, location is far from the centre of attraction - the 'Ancient City & the Guangji Bridge'. The service is good, the staff is friendly, and the amenity is good.

The hotel's bedrooms were just too small for us being travellers from overseas. We selected this hotel for an overnight stay based on reports from Youtubes claiming that there are good restaurants and markets nearby. However it is too bad that some road construction activity is going on now near the hotel.

Zhuangzhuang and Ms. Ke provided good service. The front desk was very good. The location was good. There was a washing machine that could be used conveniently.

There was cigarette ash on the floor when I entered the door, but I was shocked when I turned on the light and saw the room. The room design was very poor, the sanitary conditions were also worrying, and the windows were open in such humid weather, so I had to catch mosquitoes before I could sleep.
