That day was my weekend that I wanted to escape the hustle and bustle from Bangkok, so I took the train to chill. When I arrived, I took a red car to the hotel. Location wise, this hotel is great. Walking to famous Sunday night market is about 10-15 minutes. Old city just nearby to access. Famous khao soi is just across the road- 4 mins away. Just outside the hotel, night market of food stalls - very good food! We liked that our family room (like an adjoined two rooms) was spacious, clean and comfortable. Everyday housekeeping and amenities replenished 👍👍. Only setback is Toilet showers was challenging- too hot and not able to control. And toilet internal wood etc need to refurbish. Overall for us a comfortable, inexpensive and strategic stay.

This was booked by a travel agent in Bankok.... So we didnt review first... Mistake To be honest....... Nice area, quiet, good air conditioning, clean... good area for walking sightseeing and food.... But hey food is everywhere in Thailand... No bed.... Mattress on the floor... But it was comfie... Just a mid 60s bit of a job to get up and down... 😂😂😂 Stayed 7 nights... Room got cleaned 4.... Shower.... OK but the water went no where near the drain hole.... So bathroom underwater... All the time...Thai builders I guess... Breakfast..... No... Just go out... Overall you get what you pay for....just off the ground would have been nice....

Lotus Pang Suan Kaew Hotel is extremely value for money, as its an older hotel, the rooms are large and spacious at an affordable price. The interior is also more immersive with traditional thai designs.

Nature Boutique Hotel was great for me. Its quite new so facilities for the budget price are good. I took a double room, but there are also twins for the same price and cheaper dorms.I got my room very reasonably on Agoda..cheaper than booking directly at the hotel. The rooms are small and simple but have everything you need. A fridge, tea & coffee making, good bed and shower. Glass bottled water and fresh towels are given daily. Rooms are very clean. You need to request cleaning if you want more than every 3 days. Just ask at reception. The location in the old town is excellent with everything i needed within walking distance. There's a market at the end of the road, 7 eleven close by and lots of restaurants, tour booking and massage places around. I enjoyed visiting several wats in the area too. Also plenty of red taxi vans to go further afield. Staff are friendly and helpful. All in all a great place at an excellent price, I extended my stay and was there 2 weeks. As a solo I always felt safe and comfortable.

NETFLIX! There is also an on site washer and dryer, free water, tea and coffee. The staff were so friendly, let us check in early when our bus arrived at 5 am! There might markets and fight club never caused us any issues with regards to noise We came back and stayed again during our stop over. Right in the centre of Chiang mai, just a perfect hostel

My experience at Amora Thapae was nothing short of extraordinary. The seamless check-in process, combined with the attentive service, truly defined five-star hospitality. Rooms are so ordinary and in good condition. Unfortunately, the shower is only separated by a corner and the bathroom is mostly wet when doing the shower. The hall is very modern, unfortunately everything is very bright. The situation is unfortunately not good if you are usually too far on the road. I had to take a taxi/tuktuk in two days for all routes because the route 1 is relatively long and 2 is not pleasant to go. There's a lot of things that you'd save with a more central hotel. We had read that the hotel should be in a culinary area, but we have not seen it and have thus spent time in other areas day and evening.

Everything that a great hotel has to offer and provide to their customers is found in Roseate Chiang Mai hotel. With excellent service, room, decor and most of all incredibly cheap price this beats a 5 star hotel anywhere else in the world. We decided to spend our New Year holiday in Chiang Mai and go there on a Sunday so we can experience the Sunday market in the Old city. The hotel is located at the Northern end of the city that boundaries Chang Puak gate and the North end markets. The canal tributary of Mae Ping river is also across the hotel. The hotel's location is great that were just 10 mins walk from the center of the old city so we have some quite and at the same visit the Old city anytime we want. The busy Sriphum Road also has many local buses, taxis and tuk tuks if you need to go to other parts of Chiang Mai. As a boutique hotel the decor is beautiful - a twist of Thai and Romantic theme with flowers and paintings all over the hotel. The color motif is Red and Pink. The lobby is wide and spacious. The check-in and check-out went out quite fast and easy. They also provide tour packages in their tour desk. Just before the entrance there are several coffee tables set-up if you would like to sit, relax and enjoy the cool weather Chiang Mai has to offer. The hotel has lift and stair despite its a low rise hotel which is a great feature. Our room is on the 2F and we have several access to it - at the back, stairs and lift. The room is very big and spacious. Clean, Homy, Quiet, Private and Cozy. They provide safety lock and slippers which not all hotel provide. Water and Coffee/Tea are complimentary. The wi-fi is very fast and the TV channels have both local and cable and plentiful. The Queen size bed is clean, comfortable and big. The toilet is equally big with shower and sink separately, they also have unlimited soap and shampoo dispensers. At the price of just 50 dollars per night we have free breakfast with it and I am very much amazed - it is a buffet!!! A combination of Thai and Western foods. The choices are fresh and delicious. It was a short brief 3 days stay in Chiang Mai but if I go back no question and doubt about it - I will be back at Roseate Hotel Chiang Mai wholeheartedly. Kapkunkap :=)

It’s so near the U.S. consulate where you can walk to. The service is good. You can check in and check out in a few minutes. The family room I booked is quite large, but it’s old. The door’s lock to the porch is broken. I would have changed the room if I had traveled alone.
