The hotel is clean, the waiters are proactive and courteous, the room is spacious, the location is convenient, and it is very convenient to take a bus. It takes 3 to 5 minutes to go to the night market. The lighting and towel rack in the room need to be improved.

Nice little hotel, great staff

The room was very quiet. It was very convenient to go to the ancient city. The breakfast was very good. The only drawback was that the bed was a little soft.

Although the room is not big, it is very clean, the bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is great, but the variety is a bit lacking. The staff is very welcoming, which is good.

The property was in a good position and easy to locate . It is a small hotel with a good bathroom and a nice breakfast even though not as extensive as one would get at a large international hotel however adequate.

Villa Lantera is a beautiful, small hotel, extremely clean and well organized. Joe the owner/manager gave me a great welcome. Every staff member was polite and helpful. My twin room with en-suite was well appointed, maid service every day. In the old part of the city of Chiang Mai with street markets and other shops close by. Very easy and cheap to get a cab from the hotel to anywhere in the city. Breakfast available. Highly recommend.

The decoration is very classic, everything is good, especially close to Chiang Mai Gate, Saturday market and night market, but there is no elevator. It is three stories high. Elderly people should consider it.

Located on the side of the road, it is quite convenient as the section of the ancient city is a one-way street. It’s very convenient in both directions. The room is large, the refrigerator provides free cold drinks, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and hair dryers.

Good safe & convenience and recommend

The room is relatively large and the bed is not small. If there are more people, you need to pay extra. Breakfast is a set meal. These regulations are more Japanese-style. The location is good, a few minutes walk from Tha Pae Gate.

Negara Market and New City

We stayed at Villa Lantara 3 times over our 5 weeks in Northern Thailand. It's a friendly, small, family run hotel. Joe and Moo go out of their way to make all visitors feel welcome. There are steps to all room levels, however, there is a dumb waiter to take luggage to each floor. The rooms are each a little different arrangement, but all seem well designed. When there was the occasional problem with anything, Joe very promptly communicated about fixing the situation. The beds are super comfortable and showers are great. Breakfast is provided each morning with individually brewed coffees, toast, fresh fruit, and a hot egg choice. The cleaning staff does a thorough job refreshing the room every day. The location is very convenient. Give it a try; you won't be disappointed.

Good Location, friendly staff. Room was really nice and clean. Breakfast was also good. Fitness room could have more stuff, but other than that everything was great.

I feel it's ok. Great location! The environment is also ok. The double bed room is close to the road and the sound insulation may not be good enough. But I can accept it myself
