Gau Shan Ching Hotel

This room is basic but located at Alishan which makes it easier if you want to catch the morning sunrise. Would need to walk down if arriving by the Alishan train as there is no shuttle service provided to and from the station. Breakfast was located at another building within walking distance of the hotel. Clealiness was average and room was small but sufficient for a nights' rest

The accommodation is 10-15-min.walk from Alishan train station. Front desk service is good. The room is quite okay, it may look old but no smell. I like the hot water in the bath. The price is higher during the cherry blossom season.🌸

Located in hotel area, not far away from Alishan Train Station and the park entrance. Room size is standard but might be crowded for 4 pax. Overall experience is good.

I needed to book this hotel due to a last minute issue with my previous reservation (other hotel caught fire). I booked even with all the other negatives reviews due to this need, and I guess that was the key for not being too disappointed, keep your expectations very low. The service was not very helpful trying to accommodate breakfast since there no other option than to miss the sunrise activities if you want to enjoy it (no to go option). This would have been a minor issue, but the cleanliness was at the lower point ever for a hotel I have stayed. Something fell from my hand and what I saw below the beds was really disgusting. Dirt everywhere, papers, plastics, etc. It seems that below the beds no one has cleaned for ages. The bathroom also showed black stains all over the place, in the joints, and the sheets were full of yellow marks. I have not taken more pictures just to avoid thinking about it and get through with the night. My advice here, If you need to book, keep your expectations very low and try to leave very early for the sunrise train sinto spend there the minimum time possible.

It is convenient to those who want to stay overnight inside Alishan. The hotel is near to the visitor centre which u can take the bus to visit places in Alishan. It is also easy to access to restaurants and train station. 很适合一家人住的饭店。凌晨饭店有开暖气，也准备了多的几床被子。饭店在景区里面，可以走路到游园车站和火车站。
