Hotels near Kumano Shrine in Chikugo

The hotel is very close to the Kyushu Shinkansen ”Building the boat cabin” station, about a quarter of an hour walk. When we arrived, it was dark. The next morning, we opened the window and the cool fresh air came out of the window. The clear Yabuchuan River was full of cherry blossom trees. Spring must be beautiful. The opposite bank is more than 300 years of eucalyptus trees. The hotel breakfast is traditional Japanese and delicious.

Overall good value for money I think it's a place where locals find a lot for business. You can eat curry at 6-8 in the evening and use a large bath in the morning and evening. However, the bath time is tight (especially in the morning ..) Check-out time is 10 a.m., so it is only available until 8 a.m. The location is close to the station and there is a restaurant alley nearby. I'm sorry I didn't give you bottled water. There's a place where you can use microwaves and ice. You have to pay 200 yen per person because it includes no accommodation tax in Fukuoka.

The subway is super close to the Nishi Railway Owe Ryumi Station, and it will be there in 2 minutes, but this self-driving tour, there are about 10 parking spaces next to the hotel, stayed for one night, and saw that they were just full. I heard that this parking space is full and there is another parking space. There is ice cream in the hotel lobby and it tastes good. Service, health is not bad, in the hotel that has been in business for more than ten years, with a key to lock the door, live in the 21m2 room to open to two 28+29 large suitcases, lying flat, there is room to move, there is also air freshener. The only bad review is that the shower is very painful on the body! It is useless to adjust the fine water force. We came to Yanagawa to see and ride on the old canals and stayed at this authentic Japanese hotel for a night . Nice place right beside the canal where you can see the boats going by. There were three of us so we had a big room, one part Western with two single beds the other part was a Japanese tatami mat room where the staff made up a bed on the floor while we were at dinner. Booking in was easy and staff super polite which is the normal in Japan. Before dinner we went to the hot springs bath and relaxed in the lovely hot waters. We had booked in for dinner 6.30 pm. in the main dining room , we went in the Yukata’s that the hotel provided, very relaxing. Dinner was a set menu, typical Japanese food, about ten little bowls containing different items, miso soup, different Sashimi’s, chicken , pickles , eel, which this area is famous for and another lovely small fried fish, plenty to fill you up and for sweets a huge piece of water melon. The room did have a bath and shower but didn’t use them as we used the hot spring baths, there was free wifi, a safe and good TV. Slept well. First thing in the morning we went to the outside hot bath before going and enjoying a smorgasbord breakfast. In the Rockpool baths they supply all you need , body soap , shampoo, conditioner, hairdryers etc, always a nice experience. Typical Japanese breakfast , no cereals but plenty to choose from. We had trout and puffer fish, plenty of veggies, the scrambled egg was scrumptious. Plenty of fruit, mango , orange and delicious pineapple. While we went of doing a boat ride on the canals the hotel held our luggage for us, very handy. The hotel also has a good gift shop. We enjoyed our stay, gives you a real Japanese hotel experience.

Highly recommended. Come out of the west exit and cross the road. When you see Little 7, go to the right and follow the road. The hotel is on your left. The public space is very, very clean and very well done. The transportation is convenient and eating is also very convenient ( There are many skewers restaurants) and there is a small park nearby, which is great for walking.

One of the best service i ever experienced in my life. We were having difficulty trying out the famous yakitori in this town (FYI, you would need to make reservation in advance which we were not aware of), as such we went to check with the receptionist at the front desk at around 11pm on the last night of our stay. The receptionist was very helpful. She tried her best to assist us to call multiple yakitori shops nearby and recommended us the one just opposite our hotel. We placed our order (for take out orders to our hotel) with the yakitori shop that was recommended by the receptionist but unfortunately, we did not collect our order in full as we did not check our orders collected and realized that we missed out on a few items after collecting the orders to our hotel rooms. To our surprise, our order that was not collected was delivered to our doorstep by the receptionist lady. The service experienced was beyond our expectation. We would like to express our greatest appreciation to the staff that assisted us. Thank you very much! どうもありがとうございます。

I came to Kyushu at the end of the year and the beginning of the year and looked for a hotel near Fukuoka Tenjin to go to Dazaifu on New Year's Day, but I was here because it was expensive and Yanagawa was cheaper than Tenjin, and the train flight was good. １ night ８３００ yen was cheaper than the center of Fukuoka, and it was convenient for sightseeing within １ hours by train for the distance to go to Dazaifu the next day. It is a few minutes walk from the station to the hotel (the opposite direction to the shuttle bus stop down the boat). The room was also very good for the price.

The hotel is not close to the station and is more suitable for guests driving. The front desk staff is courteous and there is welcome coffee for check-in. For country hotels, the room is not big, but it is very clean. Our room was originally made up can not open the window, and the air is not circulating enough. After reporting to the front desk, he brought an electric fan and a key to the next room, so we decided to turn around. Finally, we decided to turn around the room where we could open the window, and we slept comfortably until dawn.

Friendly staffs, clean rooms. Right beside Saga station which have a lot of restaurants around. Complimentary breakfast provided and there is quite a lot of choices. Can wash your laundry at level 7. Only accept 100 yen coins for laundry payment, just change with the front desk if needed.

Yanagawa is a peaceful and beautiful water town. This is an old-style hot spring hotel with older but clean facilities. Rich breakfast and attentive service. The hotel gives away a coupon of 1,000 yen per person, which can be used to participate in the river cruise activities organized by the hotel. Great!
