Had a brilliant time at Eleni! We booked it a while back and with a couple of weeks to go, I read some reviews that made me think...ohhhh dear, what have we done? But honestly, they are unfounded. We travelled as a family with our 2.5 year old daughter. The hotel is about 15/20 mins from Paphos airport which is great. We got a private transfer and it was soooo smooth. We booked a one-bed apartment which was really decently sized. Not the Ritz but they're clean and the air con is great. Comfy beds. We requested a cot which we needed to follow up on when we arrived and it wasn't in the room, but it was soon sorted. We had a pool-side room and there are so many reviews moaning about the music, but honestly it's not bad at all. The music comes on at 10am, there is a break 12:30 - 3ishpm for lunch, then it goes back on until about 17:00ish. Music from the entertainment at night starts about 20:30 until about 11pm. The bar stays open until 1am (I think?) but there's no booming music. I did worry about this as we have our young child who is still napping, and was going to bed at 10ish (8pm UK time) but it didn't matter at all, even with a pool room. If you are truly bothered by the music in the day, you can take one of the sunbeds out past the pool bar onto the grass in front of the sea, much quieter. The pool was PERFECT for my little one. It's like the sea in that its super shallow and then gets deeper. A couple of slides and a little water fountain thing, too. We always had sunbeds at the kid side so she could paddle in front of us. Warning - people reserve sunbeds so get in early. I reserved ours about 7ish and was never the first there! I know it's not ideal but it didn't feel as aggressive as some places I've been before. Entertainment is fine. Mini disco starts about 20:45pm, then bingo 21:15pm - 21:45pm, then a show usually 10pm - 11pm. We saw Parrot Show, Fire Show and traditional dancing. Kids club / entertainment is brilliant, shoutout to Nadia who kept the kids entertained with face painting, shirt painting, making bracelets, games etc. Inclusive for my little one. It's not a babysitting service but if your kids are older you can definitely sit by the pool and let them get on with it! A few reviews moan about it being "in the middle of nowhere". If you're expecting to walk out of your hotel to a full holiday ***** like Paphos, this isn't it. However, 5 minutes walk away there is a bigger supermarket, and a ***** of decent restaurants. We went to the church (left of the hotel) to have a look and went out to the pizzeria which was lovely. I do think these people just don't check their Google Maps on where they are haha. If you do need more action, a taxi into Paphos is 15-20 euro (they prefer cash). Food was fine, standard buffet fare, lots of choice, good for adventurous people and the fussiest of kids. Drinks on all-inclusive are fine - wine, beer, coke etc, not really sure what all the moaning is about - I've seen moaning about plas
