Staff is very friendly and check in on counter was fairly easy. The staff saw that we had a lot of luggages and let us bring the airport trolley to our room. So the next day we just push the trolley from hotel to airport. Which is very convenient for us with many luggages. I will definitely come back this hotel again for next stay due to the location and friendly staff. Hotel buffet was good too. And nice view from the restaurant.

Late arrival (after midnight) so enquired as to a later check-out. Despite paying full-price for a room that we only used for less than 11hrs they couldn't (wouldn't?) offer us a late check-out without paying a required fee which passed on. Breakfast also expensive at $35 per person (inc. children) so we missed out this. Room clean with expected amenities although a bit nosey in the morning as we were on the ground floor and there were a group of people chatting loudly outside of the room. Bed nice and comfy though, shower water power disappointing. Customer service on check-in wasn't overly welcoming but the female staff member who we checked out with was informative.

This motel was great, friendly staff / owners, great location, very clean and tidy and very well priced. The lady that checked us in went the extra mile to ensure we were happy with everything, helped us with our bags and even bought us chocolates to our room. I stayed at the North South Holiday Park at the start of my solo NZ trip and very happy with my choice. The owner Dan picked me up from the airport ($5) and was able to transport me with my bike. I was able to check in early to my accommodation which was great as my flight came in early and I was jetlagged. I stayed two nights in an ensuite cabin which more than met my needs. There is a Burger King, Petrol station, highway inn within walking distance and a supermarket close by. When I went to set up my bike equipment the day after I arrived, I realised my tire was flat as my airline had misokaced some of my luggage I didn't have a bike pump. Dan was very accommodating and helped provide me with tools I needed for my bike. I highly recommend staying here and shall return here for the end of my journey in the south island.

We stopped here for a night travelling between Picton and Mt Cook. The Motel was on a main road and close to SH1 but set back and quiet clean and pleasant. The manager / owners were friendly, helpful and pleasant, especially after we left our radio behind. They happily arrange postage back to us after we paid the cost Would we stay again. YES - highly recommended.

I only stayed one night but it was great. Fully appointed room with everything you could want. Compact and complete with shower, toilet, kitchen, TV and wifi. Wifi and TV speed and clarity was very good and the water pressure and temperature on the shower was excellent. Would stay again. At first I thought the road was bit noisy but once I closed the small window above the bed it was nice and quiet.

Very friendly reception staff - I was leaving very early the next morning and that was no bother. Close to and easy access to Christchurch airport. Supermarket and restaurants just down the road made for a nice walk after a day's driving. Room was very comfortable - good sound proofing, did not hear the main road at all. Nice modern bathroom. I didn't use the kitchenette, or the heat pump (but appreciated that there was a heat pump if needed). Great value for money.
