The hotel was extremely clean. It was a great feeling to walk in and smell that cleaning products were being used. The front desk keeper was very accommodating. I needed an extra night's stay and she not only helped me book another stay, but honored the price I saw online. The cleaning staff was very kind and made sure we were well taken care of. My husband didn't care for the location, so I am unsure how often we will frequent this hotel, but I would recommend hotel to others.

The 5 stars was for Kemi at The Link Cafe (Starbucks) because she gave us the BEST experience during our stay. She made our coffees for two days amd they were perfect. She is so nice and energetic that it just rubs off. Keep her, give her a raise! Otherwise, the suite was nice, the breakfast was good, and the bar had good drinks and food. Hotel location was great. You can Uber to downtown in 20 mins and not have to deal with crazy traffic. We'd stay here again.

We booked the double tree on its reputation. Paid for early check in, requested a fridge for meds …was told no problem. We get there at 1:00 and was told we couldn’t check in until. at least 3:00 Eve. Tho they charged me for early checkin . We were two people, they told me they had no rooms available with fridge as they had given them away even tho I was guaranteed. No microwave either. The room was for two, but we get to room and it’s clearly met for one! One desk chair at a table, one lounge thingy that no one over 40 would be comfortable in, and with my handicap I couldn’t get in it! They only supplied towels for one, we had to ask for more.we are supposed to get breakfast credit, but we didn’t They gave a card for a free drink at the bay which was closed. Nothing in the room or bathroom was very clean.Oh and if you wanted the room cleaned, you had to let the front desk know in the morning before 9:am.I set an alarm to do so which I shouldn’t have to do, I am on vacation. When we got back to our room at 3 pm, it still hadn’t been cleaned, so we settled for clean towels. We were so disappointed as we chose the double tree for its reputation in the Hilton family of hotels. It was not a good experience at all!

Unfortunately, due to this time of Covid, many establishments have suffered greatly in lots of areas. Having worked in the hotel industry for a number of years in the past, I know that service is nothing like it used to be. However, I expect better than the bare minimum from one of the top names in the industry. For starters, The Breakfast bar is a joke, and the attendant has attitude problems. Breakfast is supposed to run from 6:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. With a limited selection already, I think it's poor business to have empty chafing dishes that need replenishing, and the attendant is sitting in the computer printing area on her phone! Then when she finally comes to check on her station, it's clear that she feels WE are inconveniencing HER! She loudly announced there would be no more meat to go on the bar! Mind you, it wasn't even 8:00 a.m. yet! I have largely decided to go down to the the Waffle House on the corner for my breakfast for the duration of my stay. In addition to the problems with breakfast, this is supposed to be a ”No Smoking” area. There's been a strong odor of **** being smoked BOTH NIGHTS that I've been here. Security is in place in the evening, but I doubt they're even trying to monitor the property and goings on...I was trained by Marriott's best in the early 1970's, and know that both father and son would be sad to see what's become of their legacy. They both were very ”hands on” and proud of what their family had achieved...

The suites/rooms are modern and include a full washer and dryer. This is truly rare to have in a suite, but very beneficial when needed. The general manager, Benisa, and her team of employees, Bruk, Sonda, Chris, Andre, Natasha, Arnesi, Lauren, housekeeping, etc… are all kind and professional. Benisa helped with requests that I needed without hesitation. For me, it is about the level of customer service, so I will always recommend the Waterwalk Atlanta Perimeter to others who want a great extended stay or are just visiting!

Very busy hotel due to baseball tournaments with limited supply at breakfast daily. It seems unless you were there in the first hour, it was all gone. Numerous times there was no cups for coffee even. Also, only given two towels in a room for 3 people and had to ask front desk for towels and linens. Very noisy in halls and could hear slamming doors, people talking in rooms, showers in neighboring rooms, etc. Staff at front desk was great but just seems like having too many sporting events led to an subpar experience.

We (family of 4) stayed here overnight on points, and although this is a budget chain located along the expressway, I had hoped this would be nice as a Bonvoy member. Checkin was fine and the building is relatively new. The room was quite large and attractive. Unfortunately, after sticking my PK kid in the tub to give them a quick rinse, I found out that the tub didn't drain (side note - wouldn't it be nice if someone, I don't know, housekeeping, could alert mgmt of clogged drains when they clean the tub? Makes me wonder how well it was cleaned). I called the front desk, and there was no maintenance person or Draino available. I asked about another room, but only Kings were available. I explained that four people need two beds, so was there an additional room we could use? The polite young woman working alone had good intentions but could only let us into another room across the hall to shower. And the kicker was, according to the manager Josh she'd called for permission, we could be in the king room with a working shower drain, but we couldn't have a key to it or we'd get charged. So we'd have to either stick a tissue box to keep it open between getting supplies, or call front desk every time to be let in to shower. Ridiculous! We showered before bed and, fortunately didn't see too many other guests in the hallways. We went to bed (in our room with the queen beds--didn't touch that king) and didn't bother with morning showers and repeating that trauma with the morning manager. Unfortunately, breakfast was a real miss too. We went down about 8:30, an hour before close, and it was cleaned out. We got the last milk carton (so cereal was ruled out as an option) for our 2 kids to share, and there were some sad-looking bread heels and a couple buffet items. There was a DIY waffle station at least for a sugar fix. The attendant said they were low because the food order hadn't been completed on FRIDAY. This was MONDAY morning, and no one had thought to pick up a loaf or bread or gallon of milk throughout the entire weekend. We left -- no point in complaining to the staff-seems to be a Marriott management fail combined with light staffing which is everywhere. But we've stayed in several similar budget chain hotels in the last month without these particular issues which seem easily preventable.
We chose this hotel for our Lakepoint baseball tournament. While it’s not close to the field, it’s very close to shopping, Truist Park, restaurants and everything else you may need. The rooms were clean (not spotless but clean) and spacious. The hotel had plenty of space for our team to spread out and a perfect open field for whiffle ball because, after playing baseball all day, blitz ball is a must. The breakfast was good with a good number of choices. The hotel seemed to have a mix of business travelers and sports teams but there were also some guests that didn’t seem to be staying at the hotel. Families came and used the pool who, when a child was injured, hopped in a car parked outside and left. Doesn’t seem to be very secure in that regard and something the hotel may want to look into. There were also interesting people who used the spaces but never went to rooms at different times during our stay. It was odd given the location. Overall we had a great stay and would I choose the hotel again.
GGuest UserWe took our 9 year old to his first two Braves games and stayed at this hotel for 4 days. We had never stayed here before, but a relative recommended the hotel. The room was clean and smelled nice. I always check the sheets and pillows. The only negative was the white thin coverlet looked pretty on top, but was covered in paint smudges or marker of some kind on the underside. We just removed it and set it to the side. The staff, for the most part, was incredibly nice and very helpful. Crystal and Marianna at the front desk were absolutely wonderful! Warm smiles and very helpful with any questions. The breakfast each day was great! The woman serving was all smiles and kept everything well stocked. Our housekeeper was super friendly and traded our towels and washcloths as well as replenished our toilet tissue and in room coffee. The only major negative to our trip was the night counter employee, Josh. He had a terrible attitude and was disrespectful and rude. Not just to us. We observed his bad attitude on our second night and experienced it ourselves on our last night. Out of respect for my son, I waited until he was comfortably back in our room before I returned to the lobby to get Josh’s name. We had been very nice and friendly when we originally entered the lobby and even asked Josh several questions about his day. He ignored us completely, and we were standing directly in front of him at the counter trying to pay for some drinks. When he returned our change he set it down behind the plastic barrier and then ignored us. We couldn’t get hold of it and asked if he could push it forward. He continued to ignore us as if we weren’t there. Keep in mind we were literally standing across the counter from him at the check in desk. My wife ended up pushing on the plastic barrier until it touched the register so she could slide the dollars out. The entire time he ignored us, even as we were asking him to please slide the money under the plastic. In an effort to avoid a conflict in front of my son we simply said, “Well then. I guess have a good night.” He still didn’t respond…. When I returned to the lobby, his excuse was, “..I have had to deal with these baseball people all week.” I was wearing a Braves shirt…. There was more with Josh, but I have made my point. So, to wrap it up, Josh is a terrible front desk representative for this hotel and needs to be moved where he has no guest contact. The rest of the staff and management are great!
SShelby SpradlinAmenities are very great but the staff do above and beyond help like clean towels washcloths and young man it's brought him to my room he made a point to go get them for me because I have been waiting for them since the night before so I thank you appreciate it so that's why I got one more see what above me to help me I'll definitely come back here and bring him in my friends and family
After an 8 hour drive from VA. to GA. I find myself at an extended stay in GA with the worst customer service and negative communication. The room keys were deactivated, which caused me several trips to the front desk. I requested a refund and cancelation for my stay. I called priceline and immediately was helped and booked at Sleep Inn in Marietta GA. To my surprise, the front desk was managed by Kisha. She was understanding and let me vent. The hotel is cleaned and exceeded my expectations. I would rate this hotel a 10 out of 10. Just wanted to thank Kisha for her professionalism and the pride she has in her job. Thanks Kisha You rock
GGuest UserUnless you’re absolutely desperate, avoid this hotel at all costs. We were unable to get into our usual hotel so we looked for hotel with availability and booked a room with two double beds via the hotel chains main reservation number. I was hesitant to book at this hotel, but our options were dwindling quickly given a huge convention in town. When we arrived at the hotel at 10 PM they had given away our room and only had a king size bed left, which would not work for our party however that was not the reason for this horrible review the staff was rude and the woman behind the desk even yelled at me saying if you were here on time you would’ve had your room. It was 10 o’clock at night as I told her no one told me I had to arrive at a certain time to get the room I had been guaranteed. When I went out to my car to look online for another hotel in the area before I gave up the room they had left when I came back in, they had pulled a metal gate down over the front desk and disappeared I had to go look for someone to refund my money so I could go to another hotel. The woman at the front desk was downright abusive and used foul language directed at me and another member of the staff. While I was there, same thing happened to two other people who walked in the door only to discover they had no rooms. Hands-down the worst customer experience in any hotel I can recall, and I’ve been in a lot of hotels for work and leisure. Plus the whole place smelled like smoke of one kind or another. Avoid this hotel, and maybe the whole chain, because the main reservation system seems to be very disconnected from the availability of the hotels they manage
LlavoneWe arrived to Hotel, and the front desk was not the most pleasant, we had to pay 100 dollar deposit, the hotel, was clean but needs a lot of updating, we had 2 pillows for each bed that were flat, and we had to go out and buy pillows, we were left 1 washcloth for 4 guest per night. We were not given any direction as to where ice machine was, no map as to where anything was, so we didn’t get ice for our stay period, we chose not to go for breakfast so we are not sure what that consist of, second night bedsheets had burn places in them, like someone had been smoking and dropped the cigarette. This will be our last and only stay at this Super 8, for sure. So disappointed in this Super 8?
