Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cocoa

Property was fine. There was a mix up from the room I reserved. They showed a queen 2 bed and Travelocity showed a king suite that I actually reserved. Hotel was full so I had to go to another hotel. Need to find glitch so this doesn’t happen again.

Although we didn’t use it, the outside pool looked beautiful with a waterfall. The free breakfast was delicious and had hot and cold items.

Check it was easy and fast. Our only issue was that there was no accessible rooms available. We were unaware that we needed to request this in advance.

Upon checkin..the hotel was very dated and certainly had a 1 to 2 star feel. I checked the room prior to bringing my stuff up. I didnt notice any holes in furniture. I did notice a few stains on the rug and it was worn in a few spots. I intended to stay out for the day so i tried to get through the nights because it was spring break in florida and not easy to find another place. On the second night I noticed there was mold on the lamp and then 2 bugs crawling on the wall and one on the inner wood of the mirror on the wall. I didn't take pics because I was disgusted and wanted to get out of there. I checked out quietly and told the front desk the issue. He only offered me 15% refund of 200. I told him that was not ok and he told me to call the manager in the AM. For 2 days i tried calling and leaving messages. No return call so I called corporate. Again no response so I called again. No refund was issued because i stayed one night. IHG offered me reward points toward another stay! This place is run down and disgusting...full of truckers!! STAY AWAY!!

I reserved 2 rooms. In one of the rooms there was a huge hole in the mattress. The manager refused to help with the situation and then proceeded to say that all 9 of us could leave and go to another hotel.

Overnight stay before going on cruise. Great location , hotel was quiet, room was clean, and bed was comfortable. No complaints here.

Actually the room smelled so bad that we left 5 minutes after going in room. The mold, the furniture was dated, filthy and honestly looks like it was recovered from the trash.

Curtain fell off the wall, called front desk ,waited 45mins, called again, can you sleep without it, would help putting it back up, there no putting it back up, looks like it has fallen before by the holes in the wall. I have pictures,was not offer another room

The lovely young lady working in the breakfast area was wonderful. I wish all staff were like her.
