The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Breakfast was excellent. Just a heads-up, there's a deposit of 50 Euros per room if paying by credit card, or 100 Euros if paying cash upon check-in. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would choose to stay here again next time.

Hot water shortage during late night and were request to pack luggage and change to a different room with no compensation.

Location is good near train station and big church. it is convenient for traveling.

Overall the room and cleaning service was good. However, we heard someone trying to open our door during midnight!! Weird thing was on the first day the door lock was working fine, but the second day it was broken so we could not lock the door from inside. Highly doubted that someone internal broke the lock and gave the key to someone external. It was quite surprising to me that a 5-star hotel doesn’t seem safe. :( Other than that, location is convenient.

Big twin room, comfortable bed, good location near the main station and the cathedral, yet away from the crowd.

The hotel is quite close to Cologne Central Station and the Cathedral, and everything about it is good.

The room was very spacious. Check-in took a long time, but after speaking with the front desk staff, they made up the sofa bed for us. The location is great, not far from the Dom. Overall, it was a good experience!

This hotel offers good value for money in Cologne. The facilities are a little dated, but the staff are very welcoming. Getting to Cologne Cathedral is super convenient; it's just a short walk across from the main train station. Although the hotel is visibly older, it's still quite comfortable.

The facilities are showing their age, especially the bathroom. There's only a bathtub, and showering in it felt inconvenient and somewhat unsafe due to how slippery it was. Cleanliness was acceptable. The location is excellent, less than a 5-minute walk from the train station. The breakfast service was a bit uncomfortable; you couldn't serve yourself coffee, and staff would clear plates before we were finished eating, which made us feel rushed and quite uneasy. I suppose they might have thought this was attentive service.

Highly recommended! The room was excellent and very spacious. The bed was big enough for me and my child; since we booked for two adults and one child, they even provided an extra bed, so we had three beds in total! The location is fantastic. It's very close to the train station and Cologne Cathedral, just a 5-minute walk away, yet it's tucked away from the main hustle, which made us feel quite safe and secure. We took a stroll near the hotel and discovered a highly-rated restaurant. We tried some authentic German cuisine there, and it was quite good. Cologne is truly wonderful; we even got some photos just like Jay Chou's! I highly recommend Trip.com! All our hotels for this Europe trip were booked through them, and it gave us great peace of mind. I compared their prices with several major platforms, and they truly offered the best rates. Highly, highly recommended!

It's an easy 5-8 minute walk from the rear exit of Cologne Central Station. Cologne Cathedral and the Ludwig Museum are just a 10-minute stroll away, perfect for conveniently and affordably viewing Picasso's masterpieces. The location is excellent. The rooms are spacious and bright, and housekeeping kept them notably clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast spread was quite generous and varied. Outside of major exhibition periods, it truly offers unbeatable value for money. Highly recommended!

1. I booked a two-night stay and asked for an extra key card since my camera was charging in the room. However, the key card they gave me was only valid for one day, so I had to go back to the front desk to get it reactivated. What I found odd was that the receptionist asked for my ID, which I didn't have on me (my passport). Even though I could tell her my room number and my name, she wouldn't accept it and insisted on seeing an electronic version of my passport. I found that a bit hard to understand. 2. As a Marriott frequent guest, I usually don't write reviews, but I felt this needed to be said. For a global chain like Marriott, I found the breakfast selection to be good enough for my needs. However, the lady at the egg station seemed to have a very indifferent attitude, didn't want to engage much, and had a straight face. I understand that not everyone can be overly friendly, but then a European woman walked up behind me, and suddenly the egg station lady was all smiles and said, 'Have a good day, Madam.' This really made me question her service attitude. Was it a coincidence? I'm not sure.
