"Stayed as a couple at Club King Double room for 5 nights during the Amphi Festival. Pros: - Unbeatable location, walking distance to everything while not within the Old Town which is way too touristy. Five-minute walk from the train that takes you straight to the airport. - Room 99% soundproof, very private and peaceful (stayed at the Club floor, 6/6). - Amazing bed. - Full-size working desk in the room. - Daytime service very professional, helpful, and friendly. - The Club Floor lounge has it's own very good breakfast buffet (included with the Club rooms at no extra cost - apart from the higher cost of the Club room itself - so you might skip paying extra for the regular breakfast at the restaurant). Also daytime tea with cake and an evening snack are served as well. The snack could become your legitimate dinner if you need it, as there are hot options and appetizers. Amazing view of the cathedral from the Lounge. - The food was amazing. Cons: - The night shift staff is not at the same level as the day shift, so try to resolve your matters during the day. - Some visible wear and tear in the room (not important to me, but might bother some who expect everything to be 100% at this price point). Overall: - Highly recommend, would stay again."

"The facilities are showing their age, especially the bathroom. There's only a bathtub, and showering in it felt inconvenient and somewhat unsafe due to how slippery it was. Cleanliness was acceptable. The location is excellent, less than a 5-minute walk from the train station. The breakfast service was a bit uncomfortable; you couldn't serve yourself coffee, and staff would clear plates before we were finished eating, which made us feel rushed and quite uneasy. I suppose they might have thought this was attentive service."

"This stay was a truly fantastic experience, earning a five-star rating! The hotel's location is a real plus. It's right next to the subway station and a few minutes' walk from the shopping district and food court, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. The most surprising thing was the service. The front desk clerk greeted us with a smile throughout, checking us in quickly, and proactively recommended nearby hidden gems and must-try restaurants, even providing tips on avoiding pitfalls. He was incredibly thoughtful. The room exceeded our expectations. It was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The sheets and duvet cover had a subtle fragrance and were wrinkle-free. The bedding was as soft as a cloud, making it impossible to get up. The soundproofing was excellent, so I couldn't hear any outside noise at night, and I slept soundly until I woke up naturally, completely free of fatigue. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, complete with toiletries, and the hot water supply was always available."

"The hotel is in a historical former water tower building. that has been transdormed into a hotel. LOCATION Very Central, jyst 10 minutes max walk to the okd city and pedestrian shopping streets.. 170m to Metro Station POST STRAẞE where U can take line 3 or 4 to Köln (Cologne) Messe/Deutz (3 stops) or libe 16, 18 to Cologne Central Station / Kölner Dom. AGRIPPA BAD (Swimming Pool) is just opposite of the hotel. On the Top Floor is Botanik Bar Overall, service is good and staffs are friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was good, mixed between standard spread and á la carte. Check in and check out was fast and efficicient."

Achja: the analog House keeping has not empty the waste Check-in and bath mirrors and light switches were smelled with cream. For this, the beds were made only after 2.Nacht... great experience"

"Excellent location - located at Hansaring, one stop from Cologne HBF. It's situated in a commercial building and near Cologne Cathedral. Easy to get around to nearby cities such as Bonn and Archen. This time I am able to visit two world heritage cathedrals (Cologne and Archen) at the same time. Room is spacious and very comfortable. However, wifi is not very good. Hope that will be improved."
