Smelly bathroom

First, I used the GPS to find the location, so it was okay. Parking was in the basement next to the hotel, but the entrance was surprisingly narrow. The parking fee was listed as 15 euros, but they charged 20 euros. Apparently, they had arbitrarily chosen the tip. It said breakfast was included, but it also said 15 euros, so I was really confused. I asked three times and they confirmed it was. I chose a room far from the elevator, so they gave me a room on the 5th floor. The elevator only goes to the 3rd and a half floors, so it was difficult to carry my suitcase. The room was smaller than it looks in the photos, and the toilet paper didn't flush, so I had to flush it several times. I don't really want to go back.

The hotel has no air conditioning. The toilet in the bathroom is also not clean. The elevator only goes up to the third and a half floor; you have to climb stairs to the fourth and fifth floors.

The room is the size of a normal budget hotel, with sufficient heating and windows that cannot be opened. Disposable toothbrushes and slippers are not provided as is common in Europe, so you need to bring your own. The bathroom conditions are barely acceptable, not suitable for those with obsessive-compulsive disorder but suitable for those who want cost-effectiveness. There is a heated towel rack to dry clothes, which is very convenient. The front desk staff is very friendly, and there are postcards on the 0th floor for you to pick up. There are many restaurants around the hotel, and there is also an ALDI, so you don't have to worry about not having food. It is very close to tram 1/7. The fastest way to get there by train is to get off at Koln Messe/Deutz and take the above two trams (10 minutes each) to MoltkestraBe. For location, search the hotel name directly, don't search the address given by Ctrip, or you will be misled. It is within 30 minutes' walk to the center of Cologne, the cathedral, El-De Haus and other famous churches and museums. It is also suitable for city walks. Sometimes you can actually walk there while waiting for the tram.

Die Rezeption war super freundlich und die Lage des Hotels ist top. Wir hatten extra nach Hotels mit Parkmöglichkeit gefiltert und dann stellte sich heraus, dass wir für den Parkplatz extra 20 Euro bezahlen mussten. Das sollte anders in der App ausgewiesen werden. Das Zimmer war schlecht ausgestattet. Es gab nur einen Ventilator und das Fenster ist halt zur Straße raus. Kein Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer, sonst ging es aber alles. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals war einfach super gut.

Het hotel heeft geen airco’s dus dit was gezien de hittegolf van 40 graden heel onaangenaam. Voor de rest was het ontbijt en netheid in orde.
