C1 Colombo Fort

Top notch hospitality! The staff is very helpful, friendly and kind. The service is quick. This hostel is used by most travellers as a transit point to travel to/from airport at the beginning or end of the trip. The area is very convenient, restaurants, cafés and shopping a stone away distance!

Stayed here again at the end of my trip — still a great choice! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I came back to C1 Colombo Fort for my last night in Sri Lanka, mainly because the location is so convenient. It’s right in Colombo Fort, close to many attractions and within walking distance of the beach. And when the Colombo heat gets too much, Uber is cheap enough that getting around is super easy. The staff were once again very warm, friendly, and helpful. They were always happy to assist and had given us some really useful recommendations during our first stay, especially for affordable local food. I also really appreciated the spacious lobby, which was convenient for waiting before check-in or after check-out. Just a small tip: hair dryers aren’t kept in the rooms, but you can ask the lobby for one and they’ll provide it. After staying here twice during the same trip, I can definitely say C1 Colombo Fort is a convenient and good-value option for exploring Colombo

Good location. Easy get halal food. Staff friendly. Can store the lugage. But the problem is washroom too slippery.

Very well located. Staff are friendly and great problem solvers (kudos especially to Fares). Rooms, toilets and kitchens are clean.

A nice hostel in the historical centre of Colombo, it's clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The location is great. Rooms are spacious. But I can't explain why I didn't like it overall. They don't provide towels, the bed sheets weren't super clean, the place is pretty noisy so you need to use earplugs, there's no soap in the bathroom

Very good stay overall. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and located in a convenient area close to many attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room facilities were good, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth. A great choice for business travelers and I would happily stay here again.
