Hyatt Regency St Louis at the Arch

Location = Great for the Arch Cleanliness = 6-day stay, but the room was only serviced 3 times, requiring us to flag down a room attendant so we could have clean towels, Sheets were only changed 1 time, and the bed was just remade. Also, there was a basketball-sized spot on the headboard that was worn through the leather into the padding. This can't be cleaned correctly and everyone's head touches it. Gross. Restaurants = convenient enough and you are charged for that convenience. Parking = Be Aware $48 per night valet, $32 self-park, offsite options, $20 per night with a couple of blocks walk. Overall = Taking parking into account if you can get this for $75 a night for a king room it's good, if not there are other better options for your money.

Room was not ready when promised. Parking was $37 per night. No other place to park. Room was nice, clean, large, housekeeping folks were great. Pleasant stay.

Once I arrived the receptionist was very welcoming and informative. Check in and check about was fast an easy. I also had no problem with the room I booked. The view of the arch and courthouse was breathtaking. As for the hotel room and hotel itself was beautiful. I have no complaints and had a great stay.

I would give 3.5 because I expected more from Hyatt Regency. The location is great, walkable to the Arch and park. Self park on location. The beds feel clean. The room is small and dark. The bathroom has no lotion and only one tiny tube with finger prints. We were given a disability room although we did not ask for one. The shower curtain is too short and water splashed everywhere. The toilet seat is round while the toilet bowl is oblong. There is a Starbucks downstairs; otherwise, simple breakfast costs $26 and no bakery or other shops around.

Burn out light in bathroom. Took long time to fix no hot water in sink ... Besides that it was good ..

Only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of was that there wasn’t any window to the outside- felt very odd. The elevator shaft was on the other side of the wall so it was like white noise when it was in motion. Room was super clean and comfortable. The staff was super nice and helpful.

Beds were small and very uncomfortable. Felt like a cheap box spring mattress and no one slept more than a couple of hours. They had us on the 18th floor and a lot of events happening which made it hard to get an elevator.

The hotel lobby is nice, but the room was so dated. The cost of the room doesnt match what you think you would be getting. The bathroom...well just look at the pictures. The couch had stains on it. I put a sheet from off the bed and layed it on the couch before i sat down. My room was facing the hilton hotel and i could see my car parked right out front, but all i heard all night was cars speeding down the street, (as if they were racing) so i was constantly looking out the window to make sure my car hadn't been hit. I definitely WONT be back.
