The Secret Con Dao

The hotel has a central, beautiful location with sea views. The food is fresh and delicious, and there's a relaxing swimming pool. The rooms are clean, but they didn't provide a razor (maybe because I have a beard, so I needed one).

If I have the chance, I'll still choose this hotel.

This is an excellent beachfront hotel with a fantastic panoramic pool. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern. The interior of the hotel also looks beautiful and contemporary. They offer free shuttle services to and from the airport. The breakfast selection is quite varied and tasty, though there's a limited choice of desserts and vegan options. The pool water is quite cool. There aren't many sun loungers by the pool, which can sometimes be an issue, but large cushion-mattresses are available. They have strict check-in and check-out times. We arrived at the hotel from the airport at 1:15 PM and were asked to wait until 2:00 PM, the official check-in time. We also requested a two-hour late check-out on our departure day to avoid leaving too early before our shuttle, but were told it wasn't possible. This might be due to the hotel's high occupancy.

I've visited Con Dao a few times, and this was my first stay at The Secret Con Dao. The staff were pretty good and attentive. The breakfast buffet was decent. The room was spacious and clean. They offer free airport transfer if you register in advance with the hotel. However, there was one drawback: the main lobby was hot on the day I arrived. I came back from lunch and was waiting to check in, but the lobby was almost as hot as it was outside, and I had to use a handheld fan to cool down. The hotel really needs to improve this.
