Orson Hotel & Resort Con Dao

Old hotel, far from town. No convince store food available nearby. Need to use taxi to town all the time. Far from airport.

Snorkelling in the bay at the Orson Resort was absolutely stunning! We got to see sooo many different species and sizes of fish, and coral of different colours. The colour of the ocean here is magical, and the see-through water was just beautiful. Although it is about a 10-15 minutes' drive to Con Dau town, it is absolutely worth it. It is easy to rent a bike to discover the island by yourself, or to go and buy snacks somewhere. The food at the resort is delicious and they offer a big variety during breakfast too. The pool is a huge plus and is very well maintained! Pool towels are available for everyone. We loved having the pool and the sea both! Staff were friendly and helpful although most do not speak English. A huge shoutout to Nick, the manager, who greeted us every morning with a big smile and who was always willing to help provide us with info! Orson Resort was quiet, in an exceptionally beautiful setting, and everything we wanted. Thank you!

This is an amazing hotel. 1. Friendly manager. Nick is a very nice guy who can speak very excellent English and he always say hello to every customer by name. 2.Brilliant view. The hotel have private beach, you can walk 3 minutes from the hotel to the beach to see the blue ocean. 3.Large room. Not like other hotel, the room is very large and you also can see the ocean view from the window. I am sure I will rebook this hotel if I go to Con Dao again!!!

The hotel is about 9 km away from the Con Dao town. It is located at a small bay with great sand beach. If you swim a bit out you can see corals if you have swimming googles. The hotel is great to chill out, but for the attractions you best rent a e scooter for 200k at the hotel front desk. The hotel is clean and personnel kind. In particular we want to thank Nick who is the great spirit for this hotel, whirls around all the time and tries to solve all guests requests. We were happy to stay with you! Breakfast is nice as well. Some small suggestions for the future: the coffee could be upgraded toward good brewed Vietnam coffee instead of this instant coffee. Some hotel facilities would benefit from maintenance like the balcony door which sometimes could not be opened after shut. But in general the hotel is a great choice! We would like to come again!f

I had an AMAZING stay at Orson resort! The staff are very helpful and friendly especially Nick, a great guy! Very friendly and helpful and speaks good English. He truly is very welcoming and makes your stay memorable! Thank you so much Nick! Snorkeling was amazing right at the resort, need proper snorkeling gear including fins to swim a little deeper to see coral and fish, clear water!!! Food is great too! Great views! Thank you guys!

Great place, good service, friendly staff, front desk ladies and manager Nick speak great English. In the morning, when the tie is low, a very beautiful beach opens up, white sand and clear blue water We enjoyed sunsets . We enjoyed our stay at the Orson Hotel.

Orson Hotel & Resort was a wonderful relaxing vacation for my wife and I. We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to the beach. The room was very clean and the food was amazing. We enjoyed the New Year’s party with an amazing seafood buffet and BBQ. The location is perfect to be away from the business of the town, but close enough to enjoy the views of a scooter ride into town. I really would like to give 5 stars to the service because, Nic was amazing and the staff were so kind and friendly. The only reason I put 4 stars for service is because of the room location on the 2nd floor. We paid for a deluxe sea view room and we could barely see the ocean through the trees. I requested to be moved at some point during our 6 nights stay and they didn’t accommodate this request. Otherwise, this was a wonderful experience.
