The best and excellent place for nature lovers in Coonoor. Little bit away from the somewhat crowded city, this is the perfect resort in the middle of tea estates. View from here is really far better than from other places in Ooty. Also the service from staffs is excellent. Food was yummy…5 stars to them. Overall highly recommended.

We stayed in Basil at TeaNest Annexe. The staff were really helpful. Mr Afzal was approachable whenever we needed any information or help. Mr Azad helped us watch and identify various species of birds that were around. The food was great, since a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables were always available. The mobile network connectivity at Annex was close to non-existent, so we had to stay connected through WiFi only. The walks around the place were more like treks, but such is the terrain. There were herds of wild gaur bison that came out to graze around sunset everyday and troops of monkeys that wandered around during the rest of the day, so we had to be a bit extra careful around them.

Awesome British style hotel in the mid of tea estates. Warm welcome with honey tea,huge room with sitting area, big led in the room, big washroom. Food is so yummy we ordered chicken chettinad , fish fingers, cheese balls and Shezwan noodles all were just awesome. In the evening they took us for tea estate walk across the mountains and bird watching in the morning with expert guide. It is so peaceful and refreshing between the birds chirping , water stream and tea estates.

We stayed at the Teanest annexe recently. It was a lovely cosy little cottage accompanied by very helpful and friendly staff. The meals were delicious and homely. The setting is surreal. The only disadvantage is that it is quite expensive to get into town by road..ie car..autos are more reasonably priced but not sure of safety especially in the rain or if we come across any wildlife on the way to the town centre. However if you are coming to Connoor for a quiet getaway from urban madness for a few days - indulging only in some birdwatching, trekking or walking ***** the road - then this is certainly the place for you.

Great location.Beautiful resort, well appointed rooms, very well maintained property. Excellent service & well mannered staff. We stayed for two nights at Camomile room which was well maintained with small seating area overlooking tea garden. Flower pots everywhere with variety of flowers & colours. Good food with local & global cuisine. They take you for bird watching & Tea plantation tour. All the staff including Shilpa, Prakash, Azad were helpful & well mannered.

Good ambience inside tea plantations. Stuffs are very cooperative and helpful. Food was unexpectedly good with wide variety. Must visit if someone want to stay in Connor. Our room was just beside the tea garden. Beds was comfortable for a couple with a kid

Small resort cuddled amidst Singara Tea Estate with breathtaking views of the Nilgiris. There are 5 rooms in the main bungalow and 2 more in an adjacent one. Room configurations are very similar but the 2 rooms in the adjacent bungalow has more privacy. Food has variety (Indian, Chinese Continental) and wont fail to satisfy your palate. Every dish is freshly prepared so you need to pre-order. Buffet breakfast is good with a mix of South Indian dishes, continental and eggs to order. Service is very good with Prakash and Rohan giving their best to meet your needs. Rooms are very well kept, bathrooms are clean and we got 24 hours hot water. Morning bird watching is highly recommended with their very knowlegeable naturalist. So if you are looking to relax and rejuvenate away from the hustle and bustle this is an ideal place to stay.

Nice scenic location. Hygienic rooms & restaurant. Cooperative & polite staff. However there is no ceiling fan in the room & in the restaurant. They should install it as sometimes the weather gets humid even in the mountains. There should be an intercom facility in the rooms.

This is followed by a tea menu that comprises a 4- course dinner that offers tea-infused delicacies prepared by their in-house chef. 3. Walk Around The Property: Teanest encompasses a large space within the Singara Estate. You can spend all your idle time walking around the stay or swinging on their swing that is enwrapped in tea gardens. Every nook and corner of the property is picturesque and makes for a gorgeous backdrops of Instagram worthy photos. I stayed in Teanest Annexe and the room was quite spacious and tastefully done with vintage furniture. They also offered a free Netflix account!!
