I really recommend the blue water, the room is clean with a very good level of comfort for the price, staff of a rare kindness and especially Shermin at the reception which has been a valuable help for all our stay.

Casa Montemar is a terrific choice to spend a few days in Coron (Busuanga, Palawan). The rooms are comfortable and clean, with great views over the town and the islands in front of it. CM team took great care of us, from arranging our tours to recommending restaurants nearby and assisting with any logistical need we had. Moreover, CM is within walking distance of the best bars and restaurants in town, while at the same time located in an area far away from the main street, which is always busy and loud. Choose Casa Montemar and you won't regret it!

recommended by a friend of a friend and would book again when I return to Coron! The staff are all helpful esp to first time Coron visitors like me. They helped us out in booking tours, airport transpos and other stuff making the whole experience nice and pleasant. it is also close to famous restos and where you can easily get food delivered too. We didnt need to worry about things during our stay.. they helped us solve our top concern which in maximizing our stay in Coron. Our room was clean, safe and was really good for the price.

The staff is very accommodating and welcoming from the desk to the bar (Elyn, Ran, Bryan, Che, Rojane, Lovely, etc.). The room I booked was nice and cozy, and cool setups as well (you have your own light if you want to read a book for example). The shower also works really good, have a choice of cold or hot too. While the toilets all have bidets and ready with extra tissue rolls as well. I do wish they have more beer variety at the bar (san mig apple please! hahaha). It was such a good experience. I would love to go back.

This hostel is clean and modern. The beds are clean and come with curtains. You get a large locker but need to bring your own lock. There is hot water in the showers. There was also shampoo and bath gel. The bathrooms were clean. The ac was strong. The breakfast is free. There is free breakfast everyday on the rooftop bar and restaurant. They also serve dinner and the prices are very reasonable (around 200 php per dish and 50 php for beers). The hostel provides airport pickup and drop off at 150 php each way. Tons of solo travelers here. This isn’t a party hostel but you can usually find people to have a few beers with. Lots of people come for the diving and the island tours. WiFi isn’t great, but it’s not great anywhere on this island. I would definitely stay here again.

We booked exclusive for the Chinese guests. The room is very large, with a double bed and two single beds, and can accommodate four people (family room). The entire island hotel hardware is relatively backward. Don't expect too much. I chose a long time better than our condition to go to at least 600, then the cost performance is reduced. Our room has no air conditioner, only the fan. My mother and I are more heat-resistant in the south of the country. Both of us are going to sea during the day, and we do not need air-conditioning to sleep at night. The public areas of the hotel are very special, with swimming pool beach chairs hammock swings, etc., very comfortable. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious and the portion was very large. (250p = 35rmb) On the first day, we had one meal for each of us. In the future, both of us ate one. Very slow. I ate once for dinner and it didn't feel good. When we checked in, we were all foreigners with no Asian faces. We only saw the Chinese check in once after staying for five days. If you want to go to the sea, you can call the front desk one day in advance to help make a reservation. Just leave a tip on the day. The location is very convenient. It will take about 20 minutes to walk to the town. It will be quite hard if the weather is hot, because the road conditions are not very good. If you hit tutu, 15p goes to town alone. Because we go to the sea every day, there will be a car to the hotel, so it feels good. It is probably noisy in the center of the town. Opposite the hotel is the net red lobster king (general), and a horse killing chicken shop, you can ask horse killing chicken to come to the hotel to massage. Nice place, staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious. There are cold beer anytime if you want, huge room but you need to call for room cleaning. There is a lobster king restaurant and massage spa cross the street. 20mins walking distance to downtown, front desk can help you to book day tour and give you many helpful suggestions.

Travelling as a party of 5, we had 2 rooms and spent a week here. Good clean basic accommodation. WiFi can be a little hit and miss but that didn’t spoil our stay. We found it to be a good location for going on boat tours, tuk tuk ride to the beach. And good central location for restaurants in the evenings. Staff all very helpful with suggestions of where to visit. Bakery directly opposite is also excellent

The Bancuang is a sprawling mansion going up a hillside. It is really, really cool. We stayed in one of the (4?) penthouse suites. The room was super romantic; the views from our room were stunning; the restaurant was reasonably priced and the food was delicious; the staff was friendly. The wifi even worked most of the time (~80%). Nothing is perfect in Coron, though. The shower had drainage issues (probably because they don't warn people not to let sand go down the drain -- please rinse sand off at outdoor shower near pool). No room safe (although front desk has a giant safe you can use); no spare roll of TP in the room. Noisy wild roosters start crowing at 5am (but in the other hotel we stayed at, there were 50 church bells, right next door, at 6am -- we vastly prefer the roosters). But the biggest issue for us was SOAP. There was no handsoap by our sink in our room; to wash your hands, you had to physically step into the shower and use the body wash. We asked the front desk and they seemed to think this was fine and good. OK, fine, we can step into the shower, but this got me thinking -- do they wash their hands after using the toilet? So I checked both of the general restrooms in the hotel, and found that **one of them had no soap whatsoever** (and no empty dispenser -- nothing). This means staff are likely using that restroom and returning to work without washing their hands. And worse, this was the closest restroom to the kitchen. This is the sole reason for our 1/5 star ”cleanliness” rating; other than this, the hotel itself was very clean, just not the hands of the staff. But it seems common in Coron to not have soap in bathrooms; it seems that, culturally, it hasn't caught on, and they don't realize that this is very important to (some) tourists.

The room is very clean, the water heater is not very good, the temperature is not well controlled, the air in the mountain is relatively fresh and quiet, but it is not convenient to eat by boat, etc., there is a house decoration next to the day, a bit noisy

The room is large for us three. It was in fact good for 6. It is well ventilated, with ac and fan. It is clean, but I didn't like much passing by the hallway because of the overflowing water and fish smell. The place is very convenient for island hopping as it is near the sea port of coron.
