Clean hotel. Well located close to Metro - 5 minute walk. Close to food stores; Small fridge available in room. Friendly staff. Cute decor. Rooms are extremely warm at night. No air conditioning in working - centrally monitored by hotel. Had to open window. Rooms are not soundproofed. We turned on fan to muffle sounds from other guest’s rooms. Bathroom door is accordion plastic door, which does not lock and needs repair. Very inconvenient since NO privacy in bathroom. All in all a good value for cleanliness and standard European room with no frills. The bathroom door should be fixed or replaced to give some privacy to guests staying in same room. I would recommend hotel in spite of small conveniences if you’re looking for a clean place to rest.

Location is great just a few minutes from Las Rozas Shopping Village, 25mins from the airport and only 20mins from the city of Madrid. Check in was smooth and I was helped by a lovely guy on reception. I didnt engage with many staff at this hotel but those I did were all friendly and polite. Guest room was on the first floor, shower was powerful although temperature of the water kept changing. Amenities are very basic, just shower gel and shampoo. You get 2 bottles of water that I found in the mini fridge. Bed was comfy and WiFi was pretty good but did buffer during busy times of day. Breakfast was a very simple affair. Few very greasy fried eggs and bacon or frittata under a heat lamp, then just cold meats, cheese, fruit, cereal and pastries. Plenty of coffee and juice. Negatives of the hotel.. 1. It was very noisy. Sound travels easily in this hotel. I could hear slamming doors, people walking about above my room, water pipes, even people coughing in other rooms, not ideal for light sleepers. 2. I had a do not disturb sign on my door but house keeping ignored this and came in while I was out to clean the room anyway. 3. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. 4. No plugs by the bedside.

We were greeted by very nice staff upon entry to the Hotel. We had a room with two single beds which were very comfy and the room itself was very spacious with ample closet space too. The bath area was nice but not ideal - It was not a separate room but a part of the room that was sectioned off using see through walls. Nice design but not want you want for the bathroom area. The wifi connection from my room was not the greatest, I had to use my mobile data most of the time. There was no breakfast included with our stay but instead they had a separate restaurant with different opening times throughout the day. The hotel was located near a Lidl and other shops so our breakfast arrangements were sorted. There are plenty of bus stops nearby and it is roughly a 20min walk from the station which was not so bad for me. I’d give this rating a 3.5/5 if possible

It was the second time that we stayed in this establishment, the first in January 2022, the same circumstances as in this last one, three adults with a pet, a 3kg dog on the first occasion and on this one we added a 1 and a half kg puppy, We make the reservation through booking, upon arrival the person at reception tells us that pets are not allowed, we tell him that we believe we have carried out the search with the pet admission filter, he asks if we can spend the night or we have to leave and They tell us that this time it's okay, we spend the night, and the surprise comes in the morning, the person at the reception has already changed, a guy who in a very bad way, let's say it just so, calls us scoundrels for bringing the dogs into the room. hidden, dear gentleman, luckily for us, what is left over are establishments where dogs are welcome and, above all, where there are no bitter people working. On the other hand, I do not recommend the hotel at all, the bad beds are not the next best thing, the pillows are as if you were wearing a jacket, very bad, in short a place to not return to.

On day 1 we asked for the room to be cleaned whilst we were out exploring the area. When leaving our room, our suitcases were left open on the floor with valuable possessions left on the side including perfume, woke laptop/phone jewellery as we expected these items to be safe within our locked room. Upon our return we found our possessions had been rummaged through with our suitcases being emptied and couldn’t locate a perfume bottle (£150 value). The next day we spent the day searching for the missing item which was not located. To our knowledge this is the only item that was taken but have yet to fully go through our suitcases which were tampered with. We reported the item missing to reception after we throughly checked our room to which we were told the staff were aware of the perfume ‘incident’. When questioned they said upon arrival to the room the perfume was already smashed. This was inaccurate as the item was not left on a smashable surface and we would not have reported the item missing had we broken it ourselves. The staff failed to apologise or inform us of the incident, and when questioned all staff were knowledgeable about the ‘incident’. After trying to resolve the situation, they then accused us of having smashed the bottle ourselves instead of offering to rectify the situation or offering a solution. The item was obviously stolen as we didn’t smash it and, had they accidentally smashed the perfume whilst cleaning, the room would have smelled potent given it was a brand new, full bottle of perfume. We asked to speak to the manager who was rude, changed her story multiple times after consulting with back of house, laughed at us and said she couldn’t understand us despite speaking perfect English. We were also told to “f*ck off” and to contact the police if we wanted anything done about the situation. Would not recommend staying here.
We’re off the A-1 motorway, a short walk to the European University of Madrid and five minutes from shopping, dining, and the National Museum of Science and Technology. We recently stayed at Hampton Alcobendas for three nights (Jun 9-12) while visiting a friend who lived in the area. It’s a 10 min taxi ride from the airport (€20 approx). We Ubered it on the way back which cost €14. Uber arrived at hotel within 5 mins of being ordered. Staff at check in were friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable, the comfy bed was huge and the (included) breakfast was good and filled a gap for most of the day. For some reason the pool wasn’t open until my last day, and it was 36-40 degrees! (My mate seemed to think that was to do with local laws, because all the other pools in the area were also closed. No idea if this was true or not). An elderly American lady was giving one of the reception guys a hard time about the pool being closed when I arrived. Not sure why, it wasn’t like it was his fault. The pool was small (but adequate) it was very “concrete” though and in my opinion could do with some greenery around it to make it more appealing. Bar prices were reasonable for a hotel bar, €3 for a small draft and €6 for a large one. There is a very limited bar menu during the day and a slightly extended one at night, food was ok, nothing special, much better to be had out and about. I was surprised to find it busy returning after 11:30pm on all three nights I was there. Good place for a night cap. The wifi was excellent and since my company has now said we can “work from home anywhere in the world” for a couple of weeks a year (yeah I know, strange!) I’m seriously considering coming back here at some point. All in all this is a comfortable business hotel, close to the airport but with no real Spanish character. I stayed in another Hampton in Berlin a couple of months ago and this looks exactly the same. Not a criticism, it is what it is and did the job for me. Thought the reception staff all spoke great English, were friendly, very helpful and an asset to this hotel. Maybe not ideal for a visit for the centre of Madrid but it was handy for me. I’d happily stay here again. Iain, London

If you stay overnight by transfer at the airport in Madrid, considering the convenience and price, I think there is only one here. Still, I think it is a high price for a dormitory. If you want to keep the cost down further, it seems that you can walk to the 3 terminal. Barajas subway station is within walking distance. The location of the hotel is a quiet residential area and I couldn't hear any noise from the airport. On the other hand, restaurants and supermarkets are a bit far away. The bed is a 2 stage bed like an iron box, and privacy is secured, but be careful as it makes a loud noise when kicking the bed partition. Also, the interior of the dormitory was not divided by men and women. I think cleanliness is enough. Shower and toilet are 20 1 per room with bed, so you may have to wait a little. The common space is functional, not large enough to be necessary.

The hotel is cozy, clean and quiet. Breakfast is included and varied. It is according to your category. The staff treatment is very good. Recommended.
The Travelodge Alcalá de Henares is a modern and functional 3-star hotel with 108 comfortable and well-equipped rooms. The hotel's facilities are perfectly adapted and accessible for people with reduced mobility.
It is an ideal hotel for business trips as well as for family getaways. It has a friendly atmosphere and offers a range of services to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel has a car park, 2 function rooms, a bar, and its own restaurant where you can enjoy healthy and tasty dishes.
You can also bring your pet with you for a surcharge of 20 euros per stay. At the Travelodge Alcalá de Henares, we would love to offer you and your pet the best possible experience.
Located in the Garena Plaza business centre just 15 km from Madrid's Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas airport and close to the IFEMA exhibition centre, Travelodge Alcalá de Henares is in a superb location. It is close to the A2 motorway which gives you easy access to the airport and the region's road network. Alcalá de Henares is a UNESCO World Heritage City and our hotel is in the perfect spot to explore it, with the Renfe train station ‘La Garena’ just a two minute walk from the entrance. Don't miss out on the wide range of cultural activities on offer in Alcalá throughout the year.

Todo bien excepto el desayuno. Caro y con zumo aguado. Café de cápsulas y como no me gustaban pedí si me podían servir uno de cafetería y me dijeron que no, salvo que lo pagase a mayores. No me gustó el detalle.

GGuest UserThe hotel looks FANTASTIC. It’s a designer’s dream. The location is perfect. However, for a 4-star hotel and at that price (high for Alcalá) I was expecting some slippers, more choice of pillows and tea-coffee facilities inside the room. For a tea, I had to go to the bar next door and carry my boiling tea all the way to my room. Also, the mattress is HORRIBLE. I had a horrible night because it was so hard. I would invest in new mattresses. There wasn’t any extra duvet in the room either.
I would return to try the Spa and if they change this basic things (tea boiler and mattresses), I would consider staying again since the place is so gorgeous.
GGuest UserThe name of the hotel is a bit misleading because it's not very close to any of the airport terminals. It's in San Sebastian de los Reyes, 6 km from the terminal 4 of Madrid airport. From the nearest commuter train station (cercanias, C4 line Alcobendas/San Sebastian de los Reyes) it took nearly half an hour to walk to the hotel. However, by taxi it's only a 10 minutes ride between the airport and the hotel. If you want to save time, I recommend taxi. It's about 20 euros. The hotel itself was very good. The lobby was stylish, the room was quite nice, everything was clean. Good customer service and friendly staff at the reception desk. But pay attention to the location especially if you have early morning flight next day. Next to the hotel there is Plaza Norte 2 shopping complex offering all kinds of shopping possibilities and restaurants.
We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel in January. The hotel is very clean, quite cosy and the staff is very helpful they guide you really well about Madrid. Cleanliness 5/5, Staff 5/5, Wifi 4/5, Food 2/5. We had a lot of fun! Loved our stay, will visit again!:)
黄黄I thought it was a rural second-tier city hotel. The hotel photos on Trip.com looked earthy. The lobby was very stylish when I entered. The ceiling was high. The wall wrote hello in various languages. Welcome and goodbye as decoration.
The room is very spacious and comfortable, the table is very wide and the socket is suitable for the temporary office needs of business travel.
Note that generally European hotels do not provide combs, slippers, toothpaste toothbrushes. If you ask the front desk, you can provide disposable toothpaste toothbrushes for free, but there are no slippers.
There are many choices for breakfast, rich fruit, freshly squeezed juice, and a variety of hot coffee can be selected on the coffee machine.
GGema Grau BoladoLocated in a industrial polygon of Torrejón, but with rooms and services of a 4-star but much cheaper than in Madrid or other surrounding areas. If you have a car, it is a good option especially if you need several rooms like ours.
CcorderoomThere is only one reason I would choose this hotel again – if I am taking care of business in the immediate area. The staff is professional, the facility is nice and clean, Wi-Fi works well, but the location is lacking. If you want to be near the Barajas airport or the industrial facilities nearby and do not plan to leave the hotel, this is a competitive choice; if not, keep looking. The price I paid was slightly lower, but it does not compensate for the dull location. The amount I saved on lodging, I will spend on Uber. Google Maps show “Centro Comercial Carrefour Alcobendas” within walking distance with a choice of restaurants and stores. The problem is that it is on the opposite side of “Carretera de Fuencarral.” There is no pedestrian infrastructure to get there unless you walk on the highway, which is dangerous, and I don’t recommend it. I walked around with my GPS and could not find a way. This is an industrial zone with limited choices to offer a guest. Alleys, dead-ends, warehouses, and automobile manufacturer offices surround the hotel. However, there is a way to walk to a plaza featuring a Toys “R” Us. The only restaurant (Orale Compadre) was closed on Sunday afternoon and supposedly opened on Monday at 8 pm, so it does not help much. A PrimaPrix was closed by 3 pm on Sunday—the rest of the business sells ornaments, miscellaneous, sporting goods, or furniture. Don’t be misled by all the colorful bubbles in Google Maps surrounding the hotel. The hotel only offers breakfast from 7 am – 10 am. Management seems to have a deal with Telepizza for delivery, so I ordered. The food tasted unfrozen, and it was school cafeteria quality at best. A reflection of the lacking food services in the area is evident as the vending machines are missing a significant percentage of snacks. The room does not feature a mini-fridge like other Holiday Inn locations, so bringing drinks and/or snacks that require refrigeration is not an option. The Uber from Barajas airport to Holiday Inn Alcobendas was 14 Euros for a 15-minute ride. An Uber to the Madrid Center area was 27 Euros, which took 25 to 30 minutes. The view from my side of the hotel is uninteresting (warehouse rooftops). I can only imagine it is no different on any other side of the building. The TV is not smart, so you are limited to the channels offered (Sorry, no YouTube or Netflix). I think offering complimentary airport transportation to take advantage of the proximity to Barajas Airport should be considered.
