The next night we came back from the outside and found that the curtains were not repaired. I went to the front desk and asked why it was that. The young waitress wearing glasses had a very bad attitude. I was not allowed to change the room. She said that she could only switch to the same location on the fourth floor, which means that it was still noisy next to the elevator. Because the curtains of the hotel were broken, they should be responsible for apologizing for not repairing, but the white girl wearing glasses did not apologize. I often book a room on the official website of the hotel. This time, because Ctrip is cheaper, I booked it on Ctrip. Stayed here for a night passing through after visiting family up in Maine. We didn't want to drive all the way back to Pittsburgh in one day and just picked this hotel out of convenience. I wish we never had. The hotel looked nice at first but once you get into the hallways and elevator the poor quality of the place starts to show. Trash bags in the halls and scattered everywhere. Sticky, dirty floors in the elevator. The room was okay at a glance but the air conditioner wouldn't turn off and managed to be too cold all night. When I called to ask about getting it looked at I was told they didn't have a maintenance person and offered extra blankets. I asked if they had another room we could move to and was told no because they had nothing else clean. Then in the morning the breakfast was a tragedy. Pale, half-cooked sausages, some really unpleasant scrambled eggs, and a pancake machine that just dripped onto the counter. The orange juice tasted off, they had no milk, and the coffee was just full of so many grounds it was undrinkable. But the absolute cherry on top was being accosted by this unkempt old man who just opened the door to his room to pop out and ask me if I had any adderall. If this is the kind of people that rent here maybe it should be closed down. So glad I will never need to stay here again. If you're thinking about it, JUST KEEP DRIVING.
