Fairfield by Marriott Bijie

This hotel was a stopover on our trip from Bijie to Guiyang. My child wanted to go swimming, so we found this place. It looked like it had a pool and hot springs, but it turns out most of the hot spring pools were empty, probably because there weren't many guests. We only stayed for one day.

Traveling with friends, this hotel was a great find! The environment is beautiful, and the facilities are comprehensive. The service attitude is excellent, especially the front desk staff, whose warm smiles made us feel right at home. The surrounding area also has plenty to offer, including evening performances. Highly recommend this place! It's fantastic.

We arrived in the afternoon and the hotel's exterior was very grand. The facilities were also great, with a heated pool and a gym – I tried the pool and it was quite good! We sat in the hotel's central garden for a bit and ordered a snack platter, which was a very pleasant experience! Across from the hotel is a small wetland park, and I heard there were going to be singing performances recently. We had planned to go check it out later, but then it started raining! So we just stayed in our room. As for the hotel itself, it's very neat and tidy, and the cleanliness was good. The hotel is conveniently located near scenic spots, making dining and shopping very accessible. It's perfect for leisure and vacations, especially for those who are driving. Overall, it was a very good experience.

The room was spacious and clean. However, the toilet had no door, which was inconvenient. When I extended my stay, I requested no housekeeping, but they also didn't empty the trash or replenish the bottled water. I had to call and wait half an hour, repeatedly prompting them, just to get the water. The breakfast selection was very limited, and on the second day, they even removed the pastries from the previous day, as shown in the picture. It was basically a simple continental breakfast, not up to Marriott standards.

Great location, very close to the 'Pudi Scenic Area' of 'Baili Dujuan'. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. It seems to be the only decent hotel in the area, and the service is quite diligent.

It felt like the room hadn't been cleaned in a long time. It was too small, and the bathroom was open-concept with no exhaust fan. The round table and the bedside tables were all dusty.

Ambiance: It's okay, just that the room is a bit small. Service: Pretty good. Cleanliness: Acceptable. Facilities: Decent. Single hot spring ticket: Didn't go. Just filling in space. There's a small park downstairs, good for a walk. The young lady at the Chinese restaurant on the second floor speaks very gently, which is nice.

This branded hotel is generally good. There's plenty of space to put your belongings, and the environment is beautiful and quiet. Plus, there's a food street nearby, making it easy to find something to eat. If I had to suggest improvements: firstly, the bathroom in the room doesn't have a door, which can be a bit awkward when nature calls. Secondly, the breakfast variety at the restaurant is decent, but the taste isn't particularly amazing.
