The staff are very accommodating and warm, and location is perfect - it's a 10 min walk from the mall but is high enough to have a stunning outlook that places on the mall don't see. We actually had some medical issues during our stay here that prolonged our trip, and the team were so understanding and flexible, helping us keep our room on level 6 as long as possible (we recommend this room, best view!). Delicious breakfasts too

It was one of my best stay experiences recently. Location: The location is very near to Darjeeling railway station - about 300m. Mall road is about 1-2 km away, that should about 20 minutes on foot; besides, cab is available from railway station - costs around 300 INR to Mall road. I will give the location 8/9 out of 10. Rooms: I had booked Kanchenjunga View Suite. The room was spacious and had a wonderful mountain view. There was a decent sized balcony overlooking the mountain and the valley, with sitting arrangements. The room had a large screen TV unit with OTTs installed. The room decor was impressive as well with good lighting. The room had all required amenities such as heater, centralized ac, electric kettle, wadrobe, study table, attached bathroom - clean and spacious, etc. I will rate room 9 out of 10. Cleanliness: I was very impressed by the cleanliness and the housekeeping. The housekeeping staff takes great effort to keep the hotel clean, and that deserves a shout-out. I would rate 9.5 on cleanliness. Hospitality: Everyone at the hotel is so friendly and polite that it is a delight to interact with them. They never forget to greet a guest whenever they meet in the hallway or in the lobby. They are very professional and provide exemplary service. I would rate 10 out of 10 on hospitality. Food: The restaurant is called Grains and is a pure veg restaurant. It might be a disappointment for non-veg lovers, but after experiencing a 4-day stay, I would say I have no regret. It is rather a delight. The quality of the food, even though all veg, is excellent. It also has a decent choice of menu. The breakfast is delicious and has a very good spread. I liked the breakfast so much so that it was too an attraction for me. Even though it is pure veg, I still had a great dining experience. Every evening, there is a live performance event and a buffet dinner at the restaurant. I would rate food experience 8 out of 10. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and a customer's delight. I am eagerly looking forward to staying in this hotel when I visit Darjeeling again. I would rate the hotel 9 out of 10.

GGuest UserIt’s located next to Pradhan Nagar. Ideal place to stay for seeing doctors. Excellent breakfast. Good swimming pool located in 2nd floor of the hotel. Breakfast has plenty of varieties of food. Perfect and clean rooms. Everything well ***aged. Hygienic to stay during COVID time.

KKAIFENGIn Darjeeling, it can be regarded as one of the best quality hotels. Although the surrounding area is very shabby, it is a small harbor, which is especially suitable for two people (because of the double breakfast). From Darjeeling Railway Station, drag the suitcase to the hotel for about 15 minutes. Young people are fine. It is only 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Peak Plaza. It is very convenient. There is a night market with stalls nearby. There was even a miniso, and I was drunk too, and the holiday brand that lost the Chinese face was flooding everywhere. The video was shot in the room with a time-lapse. In addition, free luggage storage is provided here, you can go for four or five days on foot, leave your luggage here, and pick it up later.

Fantastic!!! They provide top notch services. Staffs are really very kind & so well mannered. Starting from Decor then rooms were immaculate, food, cleaning and staffs (Reception, Housekeeping, dinning) everything was impeccable. Their foods are appetizing & delicious, tastes like home food. Never felt like I was in stranger place, Behaviour and manners of staffs touched my heart. Moushami, Amol, Chandan & rest all (sry I don't remember everyone's name) were soo courteous and poilte. Driver Bijay was also so nice. Thank you for being so nice, also you all have long way to go...all the very best!! Keep your good work going... Wishing to visit again.

GGuest Userlocation: On Gandhi Road. Okay for senior citizens as the way to Mall, more or less, on plain surface, not up and down to walk. But a little bit distance, about 10-15 minutes walk for aged people. Property: Old, decorated with old but aesthetic appeal with average maintenance. Staff behaviour: Okay Our experience: We stayed for 2 days. We booked for 3 senior citizens. Tarrif charged for 3 persons, that is 1.5 times of normal double bed room tarrif. But when We checked in, they allotted a small double bed room. The room was on 2nd floor and very not enough for 3 persons and blocked all the for sides with no outside view. On protest they somehow managed to arrange a mattress on the floor leaving no space for movement in the room. We have booked hotels for many times, but never gone through such experience. We didn't receive the value for money at all. should look into this and ensure proper service and provide value for money. After all we are not happy with the room allotted to us as per value charged. Caution: Before booking for this hotel please note that once booked, no refund is allowed on cancellation on future date. Our experience for 2 days stay

Stayed here for 2 nights. And I'll give the real picture. Good things first... 1) Room was perfect as per the amount I paid. Eventually, they upgraded me even before I asked for it. Room had all amenities one might need during a stay 2) Behaviour of the entire team is awesome. They served me with a smile... Every single time. And they never said NO for any of my requests. Now, few serious stuffs to look into.... 1) Location, which is 1 Km from Darjeeling Mal, While Keventers & Mahakal Chowk are 500 mts. And you don't get any view from the room 2) They have communication issues, perhaps language barrier. On Day-2 I requested to replenish the complimentary drinking water. But IRD team member arrived with packaged drinking water. But again, their behaviour is damn good. He took that back & catered to my actual request 3) This was troublesome. I was supposed to check out at 0730 Hrs. And my room was with breakfast. I informed the Front Desk about the scenario in the previous evening. The ever friendly lady at the desk confirmed me that although Breakfast won't be available at that time, but she'll send sandwiches for me which I was Ok with. But when I called the desk at 6AM in the morning, the guy was clueless. He paid a courtesy visit to the room & said the message of providing sandwiches wasn't passed to him.... Again communication laps Overall the hotel is good & recommended. But don't book your room with breakfast if you have early morning departure.

GGuest UserThe place is located before the main market area of Darjeeling and is more of a hotel rather than homestay. Attached bathroom with geyser and electric kettle and room service. The wifi worked very well, I was able to get some office work done. The main market is accessible by shared taxis for Rs 15, which was fine for us because the main town is very crowded and here we could take walks and wake up to the view of the hills and Mt kanchenjunga. The staff went extra mile to help us and prepared customized food for my aged mother. I would always stay here whenever I come back to Darjeeling

Warm welcome we got when reached there. Always ready to help you out. Most beautiful part of the hotel is lobby launge and the terrace. Just take a cup of a coffee and seat there. Its really heart touching and refreshing.very near to darjeeling mall 10mnt walking distance. Only one cons the location. Difficult for aged or unfit person, specially with luggage. Tasty Foods are also provide with special care. Very impressed with the room facilities. Highly recommended for couples and families also to be refreshed and relaxed. Most important every single penny worthy.

Situated within 5 kms of the NJP railway station, this hotel provided a quick check in even quite late at night. The suite was spacious though it didn't have any window. They don't offer a buffet breakfast but the in room dining menu was extensive and the food was good. They have no tieup with car rental agencies for onward journeys or arrangement for station and airport pickup and drop. The check out was also quite fast. Overall a comfortable stay.
