We chose this hotel/room because it said it had both refrigerator and microwave. We got in around 1 AM (we were in town for a family medical emergency), and there was no microwave. We needed a microwave for some dietary concerns. I thought there might be one in breakfast area. No microwave. When checking out two days later, I asked about it. They said none of those particular rooms had a microwave. I showed them where I saw it online. They agreed to give me a discount. They also pointed to a microwave behind the front desk…not exactly accessible to guests. When leaving, I checked my bank acct to see that the $ had been withdrawn. Not only was the full amount withdrawn, but there was an extra $35 charge? Pet fee? I don’t know why it would be separate. The next day, I checked bank acct again, and the full amount (except the $35) had been put back in my acct?! Another day went by, and it was taken out again. I did not appreciate the false advertising about the microwave, and then for the hotel to be playing games with my bank acct. Either take the money out once, or don’t take it at all. A business should not have the right to put it back and take it again. Strange business and bookkeeping practices. The next time we are in town (in a few weeks), we will choose a different hotel chain. If staying here, check you bank account!
