Good location for hikes starting in Lower Yubeng with a nice view. Room was well appointed, with warm showers, heating, and comfortable beds - everything needed after a day of trekking. Staff are friendly and happy to help, and provided great advice on hiking in the area. We were provided with crampons and walking poles to borrow for free.

Really comfortable hostel, especially since it’s in a relatively remote place as Yubeng. Breakfast and dinner is great, views are good, rooms are very comfortable and hot.

The place is fine. I’ll just say that. The bunk bed was fairly clean, but the public toilets are not clean the whole time. The cleaning staff comes to clean the toilets once a day or once every two days which makes the experience a bit uncomfortable. The food they sell is very tasty, but make sure you order early because they run out of it very quickly

The room was unexpectively warm. View and balcony great. That being said, the hotel did not seem well maintained and same goes for the room. The bathroom was dirty and in bad shape. Whenever you took a shower, there was water everywhere. Given the price of the room - we expected more. But everything is overpriced in Yubeng, and so is this hotel. Food was simple, no coffee, and breakfast didn’t open before 08:30 which is very strange for a hiking place, as you would like to get up and out and about early in the morning. The service was not great. Not only did we struggle with communication with the staff, but they also failed to deliver the information needed, and even gave us wrong information on busses and way out of Yubeng.

The hostel located in Xia Yubeng village, have a nice view of the snow mountain. It has a nice yard and public leisure room as well as open balcony. I had my best sleep so far in my trip.

Very tidy and cozy room with wonderful view. The bathroom is clean with nice shower. Good location in lower Yubeng. Kind and helpful staff. The restaurant offers good chinese food, the only issue was lack of options for breakfast. We will definitely go back!

The room was absolutely beautiful and the boss was extremely nice. It had beautiful views from the room and the beds were very comfortable. There is also a heater in the room which helped a lot to keep warm.

It's rubbish, don't be fooled by the pictures, it's rubbish, the price is ridiculous, any hostel that costs 100 or 200 yuan should be better than this one, the musty smell is too strong, the view is non-existent, I didn't sleep well all night, please choose another place, don't waste your money, you can stay in many good places for this price, no disposable slippers, no mineral water, no breakfast, anyway, I won't stay even if it's free, this is my personal experience, for reference only, as shown in the pictures

The view is great, you can see the snow in the room, the facilities are very complete, when we just arrived, the lady quickly turned on the heater, fearing that we would be cold, the lady at the front desk was very nice, and helped us take beautiful photos, I love it, I highly recommend Muchen Mountain House when you go to Yubeng,

The snow-capped mountains are beautiful, the bed is comfortable, and the facilities are complete. There are electric blankets and heaters. The bathroom has plenty of hot water and it is not cold at all. You can rent hiking poles and crampons at the front desk, which is very suitable for hiking. After hiking, you can soak your feet to relieve fatigue. There are also cats in the B&B, which are super cute.

It is a very cost-effective homestay in Yubeng, with good service and environment. It is recommended to book a viewing room on the second floor. You can see the snow-capped mountains directly when you open the curtains. The only drawback is that there is a house in front that blocks the view, but the view is still very wide.

When I go out to play, I really need a comfortable living environment. Muchen was recommended to me by a friend. The living environment is really good. There is a snow-capped mountain when I open the window. I am really satisfied and comfortable. I will come again next time.
