During my visit, I had the opportunity to experience the National Holiday and Asian Games. The hotel's location was absolutely ideal, especially given the ongoing excitement and energy associated with the games. In the evenings, there were numerous dining options to choose from, and the area was bustling with activity.
The surroundings of the hotel were characterized by a spacious and open environment, with a running track located right in front of it. While the hotel may not have offered 5-star accommodations, it provided a pleasant and comfortable stay, which was perfectly suited to my needs. Sometimes, the location and the lively a**osphere surrounding it can outweigh the need for luxurious accommodations.

The room was bright, clean, very spacious and despite a huge construction site outside very quiet. Most important, non smoking meant non smoking, smelled fresh and nice. The front desk was very helpful, and went out their way to help me with directions or anything that came up. The breakfast buffet is good, enough options for a vegetarian. The gym is decent, too, a few machines and free weights. I will definitely come back just for the great service and the quiet surroundings.

When I checked out, I found that I had forgotten to take my watch. I was sure that it was under the pillow. I called the hotel cleaning staff to help find it, but they said they couldn't find it. Later, the whole family returned to the hotel and searched it again and finally found it in the trash can. It was amazing that the watch under the pillow was inexplicably thrown into the trash can... The square dance downstairs was very noisy during the day, and the breakfast in the morning was also messy because there were so many people on May Day. This was the worst experience I had at Novotel.

The best part about the May Day trip was that the housekeeper contacted us in advance to inform us of the location and local weather.
