Resort Hotels in Desaru

Very good resort for family with kids, the water theme park is very popular. I was allocated with a room at ground floor, surprised that it's still vety quiet for me to enjoyed a good sleep. The staffs here are very polite and everyone with smile. Although its facilities looks a bit run down but cleanliness is good. Will be back again.

We booked the resort for our honeymoon. Requested for a honeymoon decoration for our room and was not disappointed by it. We received a corner seaview room which has a bit more privacy. Buffet breakfast has a variety of choices. Spent most of the time relaxing by the bar facing the sea. Staff was very friendly. Only downside was the aircon wasn’t strong at times.

My first time staying at the Westin. Quite alot of people staying there thus we wasn’t able to get an early check in. However the service provided was great . We were given a corner room and the staff even decorated the room and gave us complimentary cake and chocolate. The room itself was big and clean. Breakfast was included and was quite surprised their selections as it had variety of food. There are a few dinning places to eat and the food was not bad. Will come back again when then price is right.

Overall it was not a happy experience. First day check in we ended up waiting for 1hr to get our room. Room was ok just some stain here and there. Out of 3 towel only 1 was clean. Other 2 have stain and even the bed. Is not a obvious stain so will still ok with it until bathing time, each time someone bathe the water pipe seem to be blocked, Doesn’t flow properly. Breakfast buffet was rather disappointing, option to choose was range but flavour not very nice. Me and my friends felt only the harsh brown & nugget is nice. Remaining soso only. Gotten more disappointed when we go back hotel room and the card sensor wasn’t working. The front counter ask someone to help us check and he said the sensor spoil need install a new wan but they didnt do it after we left but when we still in the room. Felt that the service this time wasnt as what the review said might be cos the hotel was fully booked. (Could be cos holiday) but still felt a rather disappointing trip.

Awesome place ! Super private place for relax and I really enjoyed my staycation. I went with hubby and baby. They provided free kids meal for my baby as well while we ordered in room dining. All their staff very friendly and helpful. They always try to meet all my request and also prepared birthday amenities for my birthday celebration. Definitely will visit again!

Unlike what Agoda had called it, This is not a resort. It is more a serviced apartment. Had we known this, we would have appreciated the suite, quiet beach, the minimart or the lonely pool and even the slow wifi. But we were looking for a resort, with choice of food and running amenities…we were in Desaru for 3 days with family visiting us. We checked in and the reception refused to give more than one key when the suite had occupancy for 4. She did though after talking to her manager. We requested the kind hearted lady at the cafe to please arrange for some food when she said that she couldn’t because buffet food was getting served for a teachers’ conference. Finally she agreed and the food came fast. Choice was sparing but it was fast. But they didn’t accept credit cards and we spend most of our money we changed with money changer to pay them. That was it. We got in the car immediately after lunch and checked in to another resort. Now lying on their beach chair by the ocean and writing the review. We discussed, perhaps we need to reconsider using Agoda also.
