Hampton Inn & Suites Dodge City

During my recent stay at the Hampton, I was truly impressed by the exceptional level of service and hospitality provided by April at the front desk. Our business has been using this hotel as our place to stay when working in/around Dodge City. April has us all memorized and welcomes us back . This makes for a fast check-in and a time saver. I would highly recommend Hampton to anyone looking for a place to stay when visiting Dodge. I look forward to returning in the future.

The locations is great and we always enjoy staying at the Hampton. However this particular visit wasn't the best. We were on the third floor and around midnight someone right above us was stomping constantly. When we were packing the next morning, we discovered the room wasn't as clean as we thought. There was a beer bottle cap under the bed that wasn't ours, a dirty sock in the corner which also wasn't ours, dust and stuff under the AC unit, stains on the bed spread. Just wasn't as clean as it should have been.

Tv did not work. Maintenance came up and said it was good, and it was, if you prefer sound with no picture. I do not. I say a tv with no picture is called a radio.

room was comfortable. curtains did not close and the blind let too much light in. The concrete around the building is starting to crumble

Most Folks don't like Eggs out of a bag , Hotel is Great and Convenient , so that is my only complaint. I know it not just there , Thanks

No hot water at all but granted we were on the 3rd floor in the middle of winter but still it would’ve been warmer to wash ourselves with snow than use the hotel shower and sinks

My intention was to only write positive reviews from our 2023 family vacation, but I'm sorry Hampton Inn, I have to let everyone know how nasty your place is!!! It looks really nice from the outside and the lobby and breakfast areas are nice and clean as well, but our room was gross! My thoughts are that the areas the manager can see look good, but it ends there! We stayed 1 night in a 2 queen suite. We picked the suite because the standard queen rooms do not come with refrigerators and we have alot to keep cool for our across country roadtrip. If the standard rooms actually have refrigerators, someone needs to update their online description of their rooms! I was initially not bothered by the dents, scratches, scuffs, and missing paint chunks on the walls that I noticed when I first walked in, but it was the sofabed / couch that made me question the cleanliness of this hotel! GROSS! You expect people to sit on and potentially sleep in this nasty thing?!? I did not look too closely at the stains because I absolutely do NOT want to know what they are or how they got there! I then noticed the cabinet in the "living" room and the bedroom were each missing a drawer pull. WHY??? Regardless of all of this, I did not complain. It wasn't until this morning when we took our showers that we found their fancy water pik shower heads literally dribbled water because you could not yank on the pull hard enough because for some reason 80% of the water still poured out of the tub faucet!!! There is nothing that ticks a weary road warrior off than a horrible shower! I'm not talking water pressure, because we've all experienced that, I'm talking about a total lack of a shower! And I'm sure as heck not taking a bath at this nasty place! The one positive was the breakfast experience. The lady working was super kind and did a wonderful job providing fresh, hot food. The area was clean and they offered a nice variety. I was feeling better after the decent breakfast, but when we left, we noticed the rear entrance of the hotel! You've got to be kidding! The ice maker is oozing lime deposit!!! If there's that much on the outside, how much is on the inside? And when was the last time it was cleaned?? And the ceiling tiles on the floor? I know that was not being worked on at that moment because the same tiles were on the floor last night as well! I guess I was right about the manager not walking past the lobby and breakfast area!

Great hotel. Comfortable, clean and quiet. ****** next door is one of the tightest around.
