First, the front desk girl was very nice and accommodating. But the room and this hotel are devoid of any character and everything is basic grey , walls, flooring, etc, very boring. The bed was hard and there was no place to sit except a pullout couch with no ottoman and very hard and uncomfortable, your basic Big Lots convertible couch. Cheap. Worst of all, I went to take a shower before bed at around 11 and the hot water took about 5 minutes to come through. Then the shower would not shut off completely so I called the desk and they said we don’t have an “engineer “ available until 8 am, would you like to switch rooms? After we’re already unpacked and ready for bed. So we had to listen to the water running all night long in the shower. So annoying. The room was ultra clean, will give them that, but the fascist architecture and interior design is devoid of any real personality or beauty or relation to humanity. A guest was drunk and passed out on a bench outside the front door, on our return to the hotel at about 10 am in the rain, none of the hotel staff gave the guy any assistance so I and my wife and someone else woke him up and got him into the hotel where he was staying, the staff didn’t give a damn. Thought he was just a vagrant. Pathetic lack of empathy. He could have died of hypothermia sitting in 32 degree weather with rain getting him soaked. Will never return to this overpriced fake hotel. And don’t pay extra for a waterview, it’s industrial.
