A solid four-star stay for an evening. I appreciated the guest laundry room ($1.50 per cycle each for the washer and dryer; drying a full load requires two dry cycles). Not fancy, but comfortable. If I had to guess, I'd say this is one of the earlier built Holiday Inn Express properties, when they were targeting a little more of an economy segment of the market than they are now. Staff was pleasant. Fairly normal breakfast for Holiday Inn Express, though perhaps missing a little due to supply chain issues. Breakfast was essentially restored to pre-COVID levels. Shower worked well. Stairs were nice -- I appreciate when they are carpeted and well lit to actually encourage their use. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
