The better aspect is that the hotel agreed to check in early and store luggage until 16:00 after check out. The disadvantage is that there is dust on the floor, obviously there is no cleaning before check-in, and no shampoo and bath products are provided.

The Backstage Hotel in Dresden is a special kind of feel-good place, located not far from the Elbe. Top rooms with exclusively coordinated, royal-looking furniture! A small balcony and a creatively designed bathroom with a spacious shower and a touch of special musical flair.
The staff are friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is varied and very tasty! The center with all the sights is easy to reach on foot in about 45 minutes. With the tourist ticket that we were able to buy at the hotel, we were able to enjoy tram, bus and train for two days! A city tour is also worthwhile! All in one: a great stay in an excellent hotel. The associated, adjacent Carte Blanche theater gave us an unforgettable evening!

Slow, sometimes no internet at all. Breakfast buffet without fruit or yoghurt (it was just out), not enough bread on the first day. What surprised us was that the reception was no longer manned after 3 p.m. Luckily we arrived on time. I expect a hotel to be able to accommodate arrivals after 3 p.m. We had already stayed at this hotel once in 2009 and had good memories of it, so we deliberately chose it this time. This is definitely the last time we will be there and we will not recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is perfectly ok. Good rooms and comfortable beds.
Location interesting. Outside the city center approx. 30 minutes walk in nice surroundings.
The sad part for us was that the TV didn't work on any of the days and that you didn't get any compensation. Can think that parking fee should be abolished as goodwill. There is no lift, so nothing for those who have difficulty climbing stairs, otherwise a very nice hotel.

First the positive. The location is great - central for city activities, but you are still in a quiet area with a view of park-like courtyards. The rooms are originally furnished. The Balkan kitsch in the dining room is probably a matter of taste. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is good, the selection and quality of the products is good. Great location in DD-Neustadt. Clean and stylishly furnished rooms, very good quality of sleep. Parking in the underground garage for 10 euros/day. Great breakfast, lots of choice and - above all - Mediterranean items. Ideal location, 5 minutes walk to the cult and pub district in Neustadt. Tram stop also 5 minutes away. Friendly and courteous staff. Check-in worked (for us) by sending a code via email as we only arrived on Friday evening. No problems. We would be happy to come back anytime!

Absolutely recommended. Creatively designed rooms. Super friendly staff. You just feel at home. Gluten-free rolls were no problem at all. This definitely won't be the last time we stay here. Right next door is the Zora cocktail bar and the Carte Blanche CABARET. A great ensemble. We immediately arranged to see the New Year's Eve show.
