Red Roof Inn Dunbar

Reserved two rooms with xl large corner tubs. Neither of our rooms had the tubs. Also was charged 200.00 deposit that i was not told about when i reserved the room. But staff was very friendly and rooms were nice, well maintained and clean. Would come back if needed place to stay.

The staff was friendly. The beds were not as comfortable as I would like but not too bad for one night. Noise from the hall and another room continued until after 1:00 am.

Everything was awesome besides for staff allowing the homeless people to hang out in the lobby which made me feel uneasy and made me feel like i had to keep my car locked.

The staff were extra helpful and polite I wish i would have gotten the gentlemans name but i appreciated his help the most but he checked me in that day

This is not a bad stay for a short period of time. I wouldn’t stay here for a long period of time. The staff was nice. it has been recently updated but the smell in the hallway was horrible, it smelled like cat pee and paint. Idk if that was the smell of something new that was put in or something old they were trying to cover up. But the room overall was clean and nice with the exception that there was no microwave or mini fridge in our room. As I mentioned before it looks like they have done some updates so it’s possible they haven’t been able to put those back in rooms yet. However you are close to everything, a few fast food places, and local sit down restaurant in walking distance, a gas station and Kroger, Walgreens, and CVS super close, making any necessities super accessible.

Pretty decent stay. Our room was across the hall from the maintenance room where they kept slamming the door during the night, which was quite bothersome. Otherwise a solid place!

It was fine for the rate I paid. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. I asked for a room on the top floor which I did not get. The room I had was right across from the stairs and maintenance closet, so there was quite a bit of noise. Not enough parking spaces.

Heater/a.c. unit didnt work correctly. Didnt have a microwave OR fridge. Beds were okay. Carpets were dirty

Smoke detector going off in room. We told clerk next morning it was late. Check in clerk tried to give me someone else’s room. Morning clerk was excellent! Night clerk told me I would get my deposit back the next morning, I knew he was wrong but verified with morning clerk. Lots of noise from room next door to us, and a few drunk people hanging outside. Room was clean and bed was ok. It worked for our 1 night stay.
