Staff were really accommodating and the location was perfect for our trip to Dunhuang! Felt like a quiet and luxury hotel in the desert area. Good for international travellers, the staff were always there to help! The complimentary fresh fruit and tomatoes were amazing!

The Hotel just opened and of course there are some adjus**ents to be made, but it has great potential and they really made an effort to make our stay lovely. The location is just perfect, it's less than 5 minutes walk from the gate of the Mingsha Mountain desert area and there are restaurants, snacks, a supermarket and a pharmacy nearby. It's also near the famous Leiyin Temple. Upon our arrival, we were upgraded to the garden room, with direct access to the swimming pool and the sand garden that has Jujube and Pear trees (they welcome you to pick the fruits and eat them, they are very sweet). The room has a private garden with reclining chairs and inside it is new with a modern style, the bed and pillows are super comfortable. It has a large fridge and a wall projector to watch your own media. The room's air is chill even without using the AC and very bright thanks to the big window. The management was very nice with us and gave us welcome presents and invited us to a live music show in the garden offering us beers. They managed a delivery for all the stuff we bought and wanted to ship back to Shanghai. Only little problem is that with the sand garden, it is very easy to bring sand inside the room, they will hopefully come up with a solution for that in the near future.

Amazing place. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Two young ladies at the reception speak English very well and helped us to arrange the trip to Yardang and Yumen Pass. We had a lovely conversation. Thanks a lot.

Very good living experience, the guy at the front desk was also enthusiastic... took us to eat for a discount ~ The hotel is relatively clean and comfortable ~ There is a small yard where you can relax ~
I especially like that the front desk has unlimited drinks for free... Hahaha, it's great to take one or two bottles every time you go out🤗
