This hotel is conveniently located next to the mall with an indoor walkway (the main reason we chose it for a long weekend trip). It was an OK value for what we paid, but there are definitely improvements that could be made.
The hotel has a partnership with American Airlines and even though we had explicitly texted for our shuttle bus pick up, we were told in no uncertain terms that we were lower priority to those AA staffers…even ones that showed up AFTER we had started to queue up once the bulk of the AA crew was already on board. The shuttle driver was very clear that we were NOT worthy enough to board until this last crew straggler got his seat.
Check in was slow but the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Cleaning staff were less than ideal, as we had to ask for supplies to be replenished and on the last day there were cleaning gloves left behind on our floor (gross).
They should also offer a bag storage/concierge desk separate from the check in, as we did not see one available, and didn’t want to wait in the line up to ask for this service.
