Amazing property super clean and well maintained in front of the sea with a long beautiful beach. Bungalows are all brand new, very nicely decorated with two terraces for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with sea view. We stayed in a family bungalow with separate bedroom dor parents and kitchen, quite big with a lot of space and front garden (with lounge chairs) and the sea in front of us. All amenities are here for a perfect relaxing stay. Great service too with very helpful staff keen to do everything they can to accomodate you. 3km away from Gytheio which is a really nice little town to visit and enjoy for having dinner. We loved our stay after remote Mani visit. Thank you !!!

Everything was wonderful, the place wonderful , the room comfortable , the staff very kind. All the people are very kind and helpful with us. I will definitely go again. I highly recommend it!!💥🌺❤️

This is the second time that we visit Mareggio since 2022! Lovely accommodation, on an excellent location, right in front of the beautiful beach “Selinitsa”.❤️Your own piece of heaven.❤️The stuff is very hospitable, delicious breakfast is served at your private porch, and delicacies can be ordered from your beach cabana while enjoying your swim! This time we chose a different residence, we booked the one with the small plunge pool, instead of the one with the outdoor jacuzzi. We loved it as well, it was more private, at the right side of Mareggio, and we used the small pool to cool down during the warm hours.. We shall be back soon again! Thank you Ilia for making our stay memorable once more🙏🏻😊😊

We stayed only 3 nights in a superior suite right on the beach. And,we would have loved to stay longer in such a great place! The suite was very nice and perfectly furnished, even with a nespresso machine. Very clean and equipped with all the necessary equipment, even in the bathroom we got shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. With the room tablet we were able to advise when to clean the room, great service! Also we could order the breakfast online for the next day, to have it on our own private terrace, what a great concept! Even the choices were great from different bread, yogurts, cereals, muesli, cheese, cold cuts, different style of eggs, sweets, pies, orange juice, coffees and teas etc, a hughe varioty and delivered every morning at the time of our own choice between 8 and 11 am. Very nice staff, fast and uncomplicated check in and check out with Andrew. The location is very quiet when we were there in May. On the beach for every room 2 sunbeds and also a covered little hut with 2 extra sun beds as well, everything just a few meters away from the room. We enjoyed it very much and would recommend it warmly. If there are no families, it's a wonderful place for couples who wish their privacy and silence. Some rooms have jacuzzi. We also met Ilias, the owner, who was also working around the garden, everything was perfectly kept and done. He is doing a great job with his staff! Simply perfect. Perfect accommodation, best breakfast ever and most friendly staff. Absolutely clean and right at the beach. 5 mins by car from Gythio town...a quiet hide away, just petfect. A real luxury gem with plenty of restaurants nearby.

By far, the best place to stay in Peloponez!

This is a top quality privately owned family hotel with just handful of boutique designed suites/rooms. The family really knows what they're doing as immediately you feel everything is meticulously cared for and considered: Quality and cleanliness of Furniture, Bedding, Dishware, Glassware, Bathroom products, Scents in the rooms, scent of bath and laundry products are very pleasant and hypoallergenic, Outdoor dining areas are beautiful with the most stunning view over the direct view of the vast water. To the right on the beach you see Gytheio which is within 10min drive. From the location to every positioning and selection of every door, window, mirror, fabric textures and tables are all very well considered and perfection. The manager is incredibly hard working and always on hand to make sure everything is in perfect order and you are looked after. Breakfast delivered to the room every morning and Lunch delivered to your beach cabana is a highlight for guests, but I think should be the way of the future for all hotels - as you preorder next day's breakfast, the hotel saves food excesses (eco friendly), rids necessity of having a restaurant and services that goes along with that which normally produces more waste for the facility as well as for the environment. I for one dont ever want to have to face another buffet with over arrangement of food choices or dealing with getting dressed, going to a restaurant in the morning groggy, dealing with waiters. All that is a welcome change for guests, hotels, and environment - way of the future. Thank you Mareggio for an excellent stay which is still ongoing for me luckily. I would say this is best for couples looking for a quiet place with a little bit of slow living. Not for young people looking to party or get drunk or to make noise. Just the drive to get the hotel can be quite tricky at night with tiny bends and turns and slopes, and parking in Gytheio can be challenging thru the street parked cars if you're not an expert driver used to going thru streets with inches on either sides.

Mareggio is a breathtaking resort. This hotel pulls out all the stops in terms of ensuring their guests have a perfect experience. Our room was the suite with full beach view, and every morning we woke to a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean (on Selinitsa Beach). We ordered breakfast via the hotel option every morning - you pick the time you want to eat, select from their many options and it is delivered to your patio. Its just simple luxury with perfect service from their staff. Andreas, the manager you first meet on arrival is an excellent onsite manager. We also met Ilias (who I believe was the owner). If you left the resort to head out for dinner for example, and when coming back to Mareggio, he would literally greet you, ensure you park car ok, and that basically you are ok - it's just this little extra level of service that is so lovely. Whatever you need - Andreas and Ilias are there to help. The units are cleaned meticulously everyday. The breakfast food - fantastic. The beach in front of Mareggio is rocky - but bring a pair of swim shoes and you are totally fine when going in to the water - which by the way is crystal clear. Mareggio provides their guests with their own private cabana and chairs on the beach. They are yours for your stay - no need to ever save chairs! The hotel and the grounds are pristine, and quiet. If you are looking for a place to decompress - and breathe - swim - eat - and stare out at the sea everyday, pack your bags and try Mareggio. You will not be disappointed.

Bungalow 205 was over the top amazing. You can order breakfast from a tablet in your room every night and you'll have it ready, set on your terrace, for you at your preferred hour in the morning. The beds are so comfy it is very hard to leave them in the morning. Everything is so clean and beautiful! there's a jacuzzi they clean every single morning and afternoon, basically whenever you are away, so the water is never cloudy or dirty. The beach is literally 50 metres from your door, and there's a splendid beach chair (they change the covers of the chair every day) to admire the garden and the view under an umbrella. The beach is half pebbles, half sand. Quiet water, perfect for small kids. You have your own beach chairs and beach bed!! Every room has one assigned so you don't have to fight other guests for them. I literally have nothing bad to say about this hotel. We went during the heat wave and we felt it was like a little quiet oasis from the chaos outside. Very quiet, even with a couple of families staying at the same time as ourselves, the place is big and each cabin has a lot of privacy. The beach was always nearly empty. Really amazing holiday.
