Very clean, right next to a pub and easy to get to

An excellent stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Bed very comfortable and excellent facilities. Room very clean and well prepared.

Warm welcome by lady on reception and all other staff were pleasant and helpful on any of our questions Room clean and tidy with some products available for wash and shower Breakfast used once as mainly with family whom lived in area, and was reasonable level on fruit etc but main cooked breakfast items were very good choices, so well worth paying extra , and being cranberry lover in juice selection this was not out but readily obtained for me when asked Couple issues; - shower head had leak at joint and was spraying water onto ceiling over a light fitting and down the wall, I left note at reception to endure this was urgently dealt with - window needs silicone area removed and replaced as quite mouldy not an issue as one expects this to happen over time just needs maintenance check - biggest grip and I understand smokers but they congregate at the hotel door and I had to ask on several occasions to excuse us and walk through the smoke, to us not a good impression and not good for non smokers, PLEASE consider moving this area to the end of the path to enable free and clear access to the hotel Would still Recommend choosing this site

Great location, good size bedrooms, and nice bathroom (with bath and shower). Pub next door does amazing meals, and the breakfast was great too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only issue we had was a banging through the night, whenever the wind was blowing. After reporting this they thought it could be a loose tile. Unfortunately it woke me up so it wasn't a great night's sleep. If it wasn't for this it would have been a 5 stars. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon and no one else has this experience.

Great little hotel this. Perfect location for me. Always stay here when working in the area. Clean rooms, great pub next door ( seperate from the hotel, so be aware breakfast times are different). Andy on reception is a star. Always approachable,friendly and happy. Looks like he really enjoys his job. Nothing is too much trouble. Great asset to this hotel so the company needs to appreciate what he does. Staff in the morning were friendly too.

We attended a wedding this weekend .. and the hotel had a very welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walked in through the door until you left.. the staff were very friendly and accommodating, Especially Andy ( the woman who took over I didn't catch her name... Sorry) who was not only friendly towards me and my husband, but also very sociable towards my children and very easy going to talk too and we were happy he was there both days we were there. The rooms were very clean and was exactly what we needed for our 2 day stay as well as perfect location so definitely worth the value we paid. Considering we were near a main ish road you barely hear any traffic even with the window partially open so noise level was just perfect for getting my children to sleep late at night as well as catching a slight breeze.. If I ever need to stay in this location again this will definitely be my stopping point...thankyou all for a perfect addition to our weekend.
