The loves are spacious with outside shower that adds touch of ‘safari experience Julious our game driver was fantastic. Answered all questions without taking over on commentary like we’ve experienced on other safaris Food was simply amazing, like fine dinning. Breakfast in the patio great experience as elephants come to the water hole. We only stayed only 2 nights which isn’t long enough as it is a very special place. Julious did find us the big 5 and more I would advise the management put safes in lodges for security as no door keys. Ironic given the tip boxes in reception has padlocks.

A brilliant destination in a very remote bush location, with beautiful suites positioned right on a dry riverbed with private timber decks and outdoor shower. We were made to feel exceptionally welcome and special. Good food and a nice selection of wines. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Charles is just the most knowledgeable, informative and fun wildlife guide you will ever encounter on a game drive. Thank you everyone at Kamp George, for making our tip so very special!

Camp George is a special place with charming staff, delicious food and amazing guides. The rooms are spacious, airy and light with stunning painted silk headboards. The manicured gardens are also a unique feature. The Klaserie is a beautiful reserve with good selection of wildlife.

Truly a beautiful experience. From the moment we were picked up at the airport we felt the exquisite hospitality. Everything was just brilliant - from the wonderfull attentive staff to the beautiful location over to amazing food. The camp just feels so luxurious and at the same time intimate. With only 8 lodges its very cozy and you quickly get a sense of famliarity. And the game drives were brilliant as well - of course its nature and you never know what you will see, but we were extremely lucky and had a wonderfull experience encountering lions, lepard, elefants, giraffs, zebras, water buffalos, hippos among countless others. Special shout out to Charles for making these drives utterly amazing.

This private game reserve surpassed all of our expectations. From the pick up at the airport in Hoedspruit to the warm welcome when we arrived at the lodge we immediately felt the special hospitality of the venue. The staff are warm and friendly, from the GM who met us, Sands the Front Office Manager who toured us around the camp and brought us to our amazing lodging. Angy and Sibho who catered to any food and beverage need we might think of (before we thought of it!). Innocence, the bartender, provided us with the most amazing sundowner Gin and Tonics, each surpassing the previous nights concoction, as well as the best iced tea we have ever enjoyed! The Chef spoke to us prior to each dinner, understanding our tastes and restrictions (but honestly we left everything up to him and he never disappointed) - including the Braai on our last night. The lodge and the rooms are so clean, the housekeeping and laundry team take real pride in the work they do. They have a spa, and my sister enjoyed a massage, which just adds to the relaxation you feel once you are 'in the bush' and away from the cares of the rest of the world. There is a seating area with lounge chairs where you can safely sit and watch the watering hole to see all the visitors who come by, including elephants, impalas, zebras, monkeys just to name a few. We were even able to watch elephants from the deck in our room. Inneke and Marney do such a wonderful job here, that all you need to do is allow yourself to relax and enjoy. NOW the best part of all are the two safari rides you take daily - our guide Jacques was amazing. We saw "the big 5" along with so much more. He knew exactly where to go and what to do to ensure we saw everything we wanted (Giraffes, Zebras, Kudu - too much to name) HIs knowledge of the flora and fauna was second to none! We are already talking to family about our next trip to Camp George! I can't say enough about the the staff and the peace and tranquility of the facility. You have to go yourself and enjoy!

The attention to detail is impeccable. I can’t say enough about every single staff member! The food is absolutely delicious even for the pickiest eaters. We saw the big 5 on the game drives and came away way more knowledgeable! I love this place!

Everyone makes you feel right at home. The place is amazing and surrounded by friendly staff. You will not be disappointed. Food is thoughtfully planned out to meet everyone’s needs. There are plenty of animals to see as they visit the pond.

Brilliant trip and got to see all big 5 plus many other really interesting animals and bugs ….. Charles our guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything very well . The food is excellent and we particularly enjoyed our morning cup of tea and evening sundowners out on the game drive. Excellent camp with only a few rooms but all the amenities you could want.

I wish I had the words to describe how remarkable Camp George is- no detail is overlooked, and the staff are incredibly attentive and truly top- notch. The game drives and guides are so knowledgeable about all the big animals, birds and plant species. Our guide demonstrated so much respect and a genuine reverence for the animals we saw, which I truly appreciated. We really enjoyed our time with him- he was a great guide but also interesting to talk to about South Africa in general. At the lodge, the staff truly delivered the BEST service out of any hotel/ camp/ lodge/ etc that we have ever stayed at (and we travel a lot!). Every staff person we interacted with delivered exemplary service- Angy and her magnetic smile and service. Sipho as well. The amazing chef, who noticed my son didn't eat dinner, and came out to offer to make him a special meal (he is picky- the food was FANTASTIC). Innocent- who learned what we all liked to drink and had a drink ready for us (and made a special non- alcoholic drink for our family member who didn't drink alcohol). We were all truly a little choked up when we had to say goodbye to Camp George and lamented how much we missed the staff when we got to our second safari.

We had a fantastic stay at Camp George, it exceeded my expectations. The room and lodge were recently renovated and looked great. The property is fenced and has wonderful gardens of African plants and trees. Aloes, Fever Trees, etc. The game viewing was top notch. Julius our guide was able to put us on a wide variety of game, from Lions, lion cubs and Leopards to birds. We were able to take our time and witness some of the behaviors of the animals, not just spot them. Also we saw some uncommon animals for a North America traveller, which was amazing (Spring Hare, Black Backed Jackal) His knowledge as a guide was outstanding. Also, Julius is very friendly, easy going and a great guy. The food was great. The manager and staff were welcoming. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

It was our first safari outing. And Camp George did not disappoint. From the smiling weĺcoming faces of Chante and Sandile to the amazing food served by Katekani, Sipho and Innocent, then to the unforgettable game drive under the highly knowledgeable and funny Charles! We had a blast. We made new friends because of Simbavatis conduicve environment. Will certainly come again.
