A group of us, 4 senior adult couples, stayed here for two nights on our way from Maryland to Toronto. We used this hotel as the base to visit Watkins Glen and Ithaca. All four rooms were on the fourth floor and we were all pleased throughout our stay. The entire hotel was recently renovated. Everything was clean and functional. Our rooms were big, clean, nicely furnished, good beddings, and quiet. The front desk and breakfast staff were very polite and pleasant. The cleaning staff were very polite and smiled to us too. Highly recommended!

Stayed for a quick night on my way to Seneca Lake the next day. During the current health situation, I was curious to see how certain things would be done and was pleased with how Marriott and this property's staff responded. Used the Marriott app on my phone to check in prior to arrival. Once I entered the hotel, there was ample signage to wear a mask, sanitize, and social distance. Greeted warmly and was asked to just verify my credit card on the reservation and was handed key packet, advised of breakfast in the morning and the pool/fitness center being closed, and sent on my way. Arrived in room, wiped everything down (for my peace of mind) and noticed the room in good order and everything looked cleaned. Bed was very comfortable, air conditioning was mostly quiet, and noise level from surrounding rooms was not very noticeable (except the loud car driving through the lot outside). Hotel is located in a shopping center with Walmart, Cracker Barrel, Red Robin, Ulta, Dicks Sporting Goods, Kohls, and others. Close by to Target, Dunkin, Starbucks, and Panera Bread as well as the mall a short drive away with other restaurants. Quick on and off rte 17. Checked out by Marriott app, dropped keys in container near front desk and was on my way. Breakfast buffet was not available but there were bags available at desk in morning which included water, oranges, muffins, and granola bars. Keeping this hotel in mind the next time I need a quick stay for the area.

We booked this hotel for 1 night on our way to Cornell. It was exactly what we needed for the night. The negative reviews are because of the pool, however, if you read/research before you book then you are aware and everything else is great. The room was clean, towels and room smelled fresh. The front desk worker Kelly was so nice and welcoming. We even got free sugar cookies when we arrived. In the morning breakfast was standard options, waffle, bagels, muffins, cereal, sausage gravy and biscuits. Everything tasted good and the gentlemen who attended the breakfast was constantly refilling and wiping down tables. Before we left we even were told we could take some freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. The area has a lot of dining options as well and a mall. I would definitely stay here again if need be. Quiet hotel in the town, convenient parking, warm front desk service

From the moment I made my reservations over the phone until I checked out of the hotel, my experience was excellent. I spoke to Rosemary, the manager when making my reservations. She was very pleasant and professional, providing me with all the information I needed for booking two rooms. I explained that several other family members would also be calling to make reservations, as we were attending a family funeral. Each person who spoke with her, had nothing but positives to say about their interactions. As we each arrived at the hotel, she and Scott, who was working the desk, went out of their way to insure that all our needs were met. The rooms were clean and spacious and the hotel itself was very quiet. The complimentary breakfast buffet was much more extensive that ones we have had at other hotels. We had a number of adults and children taking advantage of the offerings. The woman who was responsible for supervising the breakfast area kept everything full so that we all had plenty to eat and drink. She was very personable, checking to see that we all had what we needed. I cannot say enough positive things about our stay. There seems to be a real culture of genuine care and concern for those staying at the Fairfield Inn in Corning.

I am a return customer to this hotel for about a year now. I have traveled through 25 states & we have yet to come across such an awesome staff! I have stayed solo as well as with both my children, and each time the staff has gone above and beyond. Brandy and her team are always extremely accommodating, they pay attention to detail, are welcoming, and make each and every visit pleasant. I have stayed at other hotels in the area, but once learning how efficient and kind the employees are at the comfort inn, we have not gone anywhere else. To the front desk, night auditor, the housekeeping, and even the breakfast attendants - you ALL keep us returning! Thank you for giving us a home away from home!
