A wonderful few days at the Taj. Magical from start to finish. Great rooms, fabulous service and a beautiful little island. The food was good, highly recommend the snorkeling with the sharks, the Spa and of course the sunsets from the beach bar.

Our stay at Taj Exotica in the Maldives was simply divine. From the peaceful beaches to the warm welcome by Ms. Celia, every moment was delightful. The comfortable rooms, delicious food, and excellent service made our stay unforgettable. Special thanks to the chefs at 24 Degrees and the friendly staff, especially Ms. Mhehen, Shafin, Ismail, and Arfan. We can't wait to return to this paradise!

Good ambience, good facilities, very good food, bad on lots of mosquitoes, Bad for lot of waiting for Buggies to come. Bad as Water also charged Hotel staff extremely cooperative and friendly Nice fun activities Many activities available there and all are awesome

Choosing the perfect place to stay in the Maldives is not easy at all, especially with so many top hotels and resort to choose from. However, after much consideration my wife and I selected Taj Exotica as our destination. It was the best choice! What can I say? From the welcoming staff from the airport, to the speedboat transfer and at hotel reception. Our first impressions was everyone in the hotel appeared authentic and genuinely happy to look after us. This was indeed the case throughout our 5 day stay at the hotel. The service, food was immaculate. Shout out to Bilal and Priyantha whipping up amazing cocktails in the Equator bar. Shout out also to the hospital staff at 24 Degrees: Niju, Shaatu, Ismail, Mhelen and others if I forgot your name! They went out with the service each evening at the restaurant from taking time to speak to us about Maldives and their livelihood on the island made the interaction personal and authentic. Thanks to Adam our butler throughout our time here! And the Chinese and Spanish receptionist (apologise I forgot your names)! Apart from the consistent and quality service we received. The facilities was top notch from a fully equipped gym, large infinity pool and plenty of water sport activities. Snorkelling in the lagoon was a top highlight! Overall, this was one of the best stays we had. We are glad we chose Taj Exotica as our 1st hotel visiting the Maldives. We will certainly aim to return in the near future :) !

Everything was perfect. Me and my wife traveled with our 1 year old daughter and we had a blast. Everything was too nautch. The villa we stayed in was so luxurious. Food was super yummy. The activities for adults and kids are so engaging. All in all it’s a perfect destination.

Taj Exotica Maldives was recommended to us by friends as an amazing resort with a service unbelievably awesome. This was indeed the case and the complimentary upgrade for our 41st wedding anniversary was very much appreciated. We were on full board and had our breakfast, lunch & dinner at 24 degrees restaurant . This is an amazing location within the resort and all the members of staff were more than willing to organise various off the already diverse menu. The whole concept is based on an a la carte basis which is absolutely a treat. Drinks, including water, is chargeable but is reasonably priced for the Maldives as a general rule. The Executive Chef, Rajesh Singh, is an excellent chef at cooking the variety of dishes on the menu plus others which he inspires and executes beyond belief. There are too many people to mention personally but everyone from the reception, garden keepers, buggy drivers, house keeping, etc are exceptional. A special thanks to the whole team at 24 degrees for making our dining experience there for breakfast, lunch & dinner exceptional. The team at this venue consisted namely of Rajesh Singh ( Executive Chef and his colleagues), and the following as well: Shafiu, Riyaz, Ismail, Hassan, Mhelen, Aiwaan, Irufaan, Azzam. In fact, the whole team of Taj Exotica Maldives need to be appreciated for making a stay there a most memorable and beautiful experience.

great stay. saw small dead cockroaches everyday in the bathroom for the first three days. kinda empty. needs to be updated and renovated. nice staff. the extra charges on top of the room rate are complete scams. beautiful villas. small island. visited it now so wouldn’t stay again unless they’ve made changes and updated it.

The welcoming was great. Expected a lot more after. Room was extremely dated, furniture was dated. Some of the food was okay, portions are big, Chef came out and greeted us. No entertainment (other than the BBQ that was an extra over $150/p). No night life. Just bland, very happy I didn't stay more than 2 nights, would have definitely regretted it. I don't mind spending, but no massage costs over $400 USD, simple tap water $5, pop $10. Buying your meals plan should include in the disclaimer that your drinks are not included. I've travelled around the world, with expensive hotels costing 2k Euros a night and nothing like this one, not worth the money, not getting what you paid for 100%. Some of the Waiters were genuinely kind, some arrogant and dismissive. The manager came around spoke to the lodgers, skipped us each time. My husband stated probably because we weren't book long enough to make it worth their while. A week in Thailand and 1 day in Male was worth our trip all in all. I would book another resort.
