Our holiday in Honnig felt like stepping into an Alpine fairytale. ☁️ Opening the window revealed stunning lake views and snow-capped mountains, and when the clouds drifted over the infinity pool, even my breathing became softer. The room was warm and comfortable, with thoughtful details everywhere. The most memorable part was Joseph Schempf's service. His enthusiasm, attentiveness, and genuine kindness made this trip more than just beautiful scenery; it also brought a cherished warmth. His professionalism and dedication perfectly exemplify top-tier hospitality. If Switzerland's scenery is a filter, then the service here was the finishing touch, making our holiday complete and truly restorative.

Our stay at Villa Honegg truly felt like a five-star experience from start to finish. The service is exactly what you’d expect from a luxury hotel—refined, seamless, and very well organized. We especially appreciated the Mercedes-Benz V-Class pickup and drop-off from the Ennetbürgen, Dorf bus stop, which made arriving and leaving incredibly comfortable. The staff were genuinely warm and friendly, always attentive, and extremely helpful with anything we needed. Every interaction felt personal and thoughtful. The pool is even more beautiful than in the photos. I highly recommend visiting it both in the evening and again early in the morning, ideally before sunrise, for an unforgettable view and atmosphere.

I experienced two of the renowned Burgen hotels. On the day of my check-in, there was some construction going on in the hotel spa area, and the sound of electric drills bothered me for a while, but thankfully the work stopped that night. The hotel is located on a hilltop, making it very secluded. Before check-in, the hotel contacted me via email to ask if I needed a shuttle to the mountain; a Mercedes-Benz van was available to pick me up at the bus stop or boat dock.
