Super 8 by Wyndham Tappahannock VA

The entire motel smelled of *********, we reserved a non smoking room only to find a cigarette butt behind the night stand and a burn hole in 1 of the comforters of the beds. Given that we needed a place with heat as we were without power at our home because of the winter storm, it was good in that aspect. Would I stay here if I had any other options... No.

Grateful that I was able to get my money back after learning they do not welcome pets. Free parking .

Not very designed to handle the handicap. Otherwise very accommodating.

Very upset I couldn’t watch tv or make a call to the front desk! Asked for other room and was denied!!

Property was outdated. Room smelled. Very little hot water. No breakfast. All machines were out of order so long drinks had caved in. Picture online looked nothing like the hotel

Had to plunge the toilet to get it to flush. Staff did have toilet plunger ready for me to use. bed was dirty and broken checked out early. staff was _zero_ help with checkout. trying to get refund for unused night

Carpet in the room had not been swept . Inside microwave was not clean . Shower curtain rod was broken (fasteners pulled loose) and hanging & could not close curtain well .

Fals advertising. Web page states it is pet friendly, I paid fee of 25$ for my pet - and was denied check in. Hotel is NOT pet friendly. So at 9 pm, very tired I had to go and look for another hotel or drive home 2 hours. Unacceptable!!!!

Got here. Key card had problems. Fridge not working. Bath fan squeeling.
