The room is clean and tidy, the breakfast is rich, and the service attitude is very good.

the owner is rude and abrupt doesnt reply to questions very untidy frontage roome need decorating blocked toilet breakfast was cold told by owner to go to bed at 10 oclock the whole experiance was awlful evening meal had hairs in it the lamb was tough

Have just stayed at Wards Hotel for 2 nights. We arrived very late due to our car breaking down at the Euro Tunnel. The owner Dillan kindly stayed up to let us in. The rooms were comfortable and warm with all the amenities. Breakfast was tasty and we all enjoyed it. The Sunday lunch meal later was fantastic, I could not rate it highly enough. Home cooked with generous portions. A huge bonus for staying here is the short walk up the Leas coastal promenade area. Easy, flat walking with great views over the Channel. A real highlight and great for my 85 year old mum! We had not expected to stay here, but very glad we did. The owners were very helpful and kind and their food was delicious. Many thanks.

Absolutely avoid this place disgraceful overpriced horrible owners just everything about the place might have better hotels in Folkestone stay somewhere else don't know what else to put I need to use the letters up lol

After watching Four in a bed I would Never stay at this hotel nor ever consider it in a search. Owners are devious game players who have spoiled genuine people’s businesses for their own benefit. Do not stay here. The hotel was shocking, dated, shabby

After watching this shabby hotel on 4 in a bed I would not go near this hotel with a barge pole. I was looking for somewhere to stay in Folkestone and glad I just happened to see it on tv. Very dirty hotel and expensive and the owners seem obnoxious. Stay away

Filthy hotel. Owners did not care. Towels damp and old Carpets not cleaned for some time. Toilet heavily marked. Also tried to double charge my credit card. Left breakfast as ingredients were very poor. Avoid

Do not go. Hospitality is not a thing here. Very rude. The place is very dated and dirty. The breakfast you wouldn’t even serve it to rats. The room was full of dust and sent my allergies off. Had to clean the shower myself before using. Also no WiFi so couldn’t work. Went to a place down the road for my second night. Look elsewhere. Don’t waste your money!!

This place is disgusting and dirty. Cobwebs in draws, poor WiFi and dirty furnishings. Owner looks dirty and thinks he, and she is something special. Strongly advise you avoid this place! Have stayed in many hotels for work and pleasure and this is genuinely amongst the worst for several reasons.

I hired the Gatsby Suite at Wards Hotel for my Husbands 60th Surprise birthday. Nothing was too much trouble and this was at least £1000.00 cheaper than other venues I could have booked but I wanted the personal touch and wow did I get what I paid for. The buffet was excellent & tailored to my requests, the suite was a great size for 65 guests, tables were round which is great when people are talking to each other, I supplied the cake and decorations, there was a DJ and disco all in the price too. I also hired a photo booth which the venue had no trouble in accommodating and the suite has it's own bar too. It is a family run business & I have no hesitation in recommending this venue at Wards Hotel. Even though times are hard they did not compromise on quality or quantity, they did not cut corners in any way, in fact it exceeded my expectations & the friends & family that attended had a wonderful time. It was local and central to both town & surrounding area in a quiet location very accessible. Thank you Dill, Dillham and Raj for everything you did to make my husband's 60th perfect in every way. We booked for pre-Christmas lunch for family who lives nearby. The staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, well presented, tasty and hot. Totally dog friendly in their restaurant, and we noted that they also welcome them in their rooms, we will definitely stay there at a later date.

Stay away not really nice place , very basics and unclean room ,smell of dump in the bathroom , tv did not work however the breakfast was ok nice coffee that’s about it I definitely won’t be back …..

Stayed here with my daughter who was going for an interview place was filthy. Owners were obnoxious and full of themselves. I'm a chef breakfast was inedible even wetherspoons do better and they microwave everything PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY IF DILL IS STILL RUNNING IT ESPECIALLY!!!! zero customer service and don't like criticism from paying customers

Just watched 4 in a bed, would not stay with you for FREE if that is you still own the hotel ? I'd Advise any new owner to change the name DIsgusting behaviour, cheating by any means, is NOT acceptable Advise all to watch 4 in a bed FROM JULY 2023
