The beds were incredibly comfortable, the views were beautiful, and every detail made us feel at home. Breakfast was a real highlight—the best full English breakfast we’ve had in England! Thank you, Laura, for making our stay so special. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend The Relish to anyone visiting Folkestone."

"There was nothing good about the stay. The promised good night's sleep was impossible in the overheated rooms. The noisy fans provided merely circulated the hot air. I have sat in cooler saunas. We couldn't eat on the meal deal because the pub was in chaos. Front of house in the pub that night (6:30 on 13th Sep) must have had an A level in indifference and a bachelors degree in rudeness. I have been staying in hotels on trips like this for over 50 years and can honestly say that this is the worst experience I've ever had. The Premier Inn directors are taking money under false pretences and should be ashamed of themselves Premier Inn asked what they could have done better. Simple: don't open a hotel without air conditioning on days when it is obvious that guests will not be able to sleep. Sort the catering situation: we and others had driven almost 300 miles to get there. The last thing we wanted to do is get in our cars again looking for somewhere to eat!"

"The owner was so sweet and nice, gave us tips on where to go in town. The room was small but clean, I loved the bed and the fluffy pillows, really comfy. It seems as if the owner is a bit overwhelmed with caring for all of the rooms and guests. The hotel definitely needs some renovations to get rid of the smell, it is probably just the old carpet. But the rest has so so much potential. I wish I could help"
