When I arrived, there was a sign apologizing that the elevator was out of order. I was traveling with my disabled mother so I wanted to make sure there were no steps for her to climb. We were assigned to room 107. There was noises nonstop coming from the ceiling and walls. I called the front desk and was advised that this room usually is not assigned due to the noise level because the room is underneath the boiler room. However, the agent that checked me in was new and is not aware. She said that I should speak with the manager the next morning for compensation. They offered to give me a room on the second or third floor but I explained that my disabled mother cannot climb stairs and the elevator is out of service. We didn’t get any sleep. I spoke with a woman at the front desk the next morning and she said they can’t compensate me. The entire experience was a nigh**are. If I was told about the room in advance, I would not have checked in and would have went to another hotel.
