We stayed here before our cruise and returned after our cruise. We changed our tickets from January to March because of Covid, which complicated things, but the staff were super helpful in being sure we were taken care of. Perry, in particular, was so helpful in getting things set up before-hand. On our return from the cruise, we arrived well before our 3 pm check-in and our plane left several hours after check-out the next day. Although they were very busy, they were generous in accommodating us during much of that time. Fritz was so friendly and helpful at the front desk through both of our stays. Jacqueline, too. After providing a later then usual checkout, he also welcomed us to stay in the lobby until it was time to go to the airport and kept our luggage as we went to eat a late lunch at the restaurant nearby. They have pick and drop at the airport, which is fantastic. The airport is close. It was only a 5 minute Uber trip to the cruise port. We had some trouble with the TV in our room and Jacqueline came up to help us out, even though they were busy. The breakfasts were hot and tasty. There was a delicious, reasonably priced German place with a nice atmosphere within easy walking distance--about 1/2 a block away. There were several other restaurants, including fast food across the busy street. My father is in a wheel chair and we had no trouble with him getting around the hotel and to the German restaurant. (The restaurants across the street were a longer walk with him because the street was too busy for the wheel chair, so we needed to walk down to the traffic light. Cutting across the street was super quick.) Our accommodations were fine. All in all a very pleasant experience with a friendly, helpful staff.

I took my daughter on a mother daughter trip. We stayed only 1 night. The hotel staff went above and beyond. They were so incredibly helpful! They allowed us to check in early the day we arrived and even allowed a late checkout the following day! They were so helpful getting the free bike rental, even brought a toothbrush to my room when I realized I had forgotten mine. Amazing staff.
This hotel was cute, very close to the beach and not to far to get to shops. We didn't have a carso we walked or rode bikes everywhere. It's an older hotel, the floors have not been updat, but the beds and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

As for value in the area compared to other hotels you really can’t get better. We needed a place to stay for three nights and every other hotel in the area We were looking at paying much more. The rooms are small but they look recently remodeled and are clean and comfortable. If you want to spend a $1000 or more on a room for three nights than great, you can get one of the other hotels, but if you’re looking for something that’s still on the beach and actually affordable and still nice than I would recommend staying here..

We stayed here thru Dayuse, to have a spot for the day after a cruise before an evening flight. The room was very basic, but nice. It did seem that it might be a nice place to stay. A little far from the main action. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to test the distance or time it takes to walk to the beach as it turned out to be a very rainy day. The shining star was the young woman, Angela, at the front desk. She was working alone, and the place was crazy with people checking in and checking out (around 10:00 am), people coming up to the desk asking for things like extra towels, and the phone ringing off the hook. She continued to help everyone in fairly quick order and maintained her composure and friendly, professional, polite demeanor. There was a with our reservation (duplicate reservations due to Dayuse error). Angela got it fixed quickly and got us checked in easily. Just a very friendly, pleasant individual to deal with.

This was absolutely the best Marriott that I've ever stayed at, by far. It was spotlessly clean and the staff could not be more helpful and professional everyone that I came in contact with!! The location was perfect as I was going to a show and it was right around the corner. My compliments to Assistant General Manager Debra Smith who was always available and went above and beyond to ensure 100% satisfaction. I noticed her with other guests, being just as hospitable. I also noticed her with staff members and she was very encouraging, kind, and motivating. She is the real deal, a true gem! The entire staff was outstanding I cannot wait to go back. Thank you!

Brand new hotel. Room was not big but comfortable, good bed, black out curtains and shower with glass doors! Nice microwave and coffee maker. Downsizing: no in-room safe! Ants all over the room ( on ground floor). Choose higher rooms!
Overall nice hotel.

VVitor RuiIf you are looking to stay at one of the best places in Ft. Lauderdale- look no further. This Hilton lives up to its name between the cleanliness of the rooms, halls, pool, lobby and spa. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, always smiling. We were greeted and welcomed back every time we came and went wether it was by car or on foot. They did have some elevator issues during our time there, but were fixed rather promptly and did not put a damper on our stay. The location couldn’t have been better for us. Across the street is the beach and if you make a right down N Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd and walk about 15-20 mins you will hit some of the best restaurants we’ve ever eaten at. Live music every night and more outdoor dining then I’ve ever seen, it just makes you feel so alive! We recommend Spazio, it’s a bit further down the strip but we went back twice it was so good. There’s a CVS not too far from the hotel on that same strip that has any essentials you may have forgotten or if you’d just like some snacks/alcohol. My husband and I got a couples massage in the Hilton’s Spa, it was fantastic! We ate breakfast at Ilios (inside the hotel on floor 6 by the pool) the food was to die for. They have outdoor, indoor and at the bar dining. A few side notes, parking is expensive ($20ish a day) and I believe it’s valet only. The resort fee includes two bottles of water a day, two free hours for their bikes, yoga in the morning and you get beach chairs and towels. Umbrellas are an extra charge of $25 which is very expensive to me unless you really would like to be on the beach for hours. We only found ourselves using the beach chair services so the resort fees were a bit of a waste of money to us, but for how immaculate this Hilton is, it didn’t bother me. Last thing, I wanted something with a balcony so I booked the Ocean view. I was very happy with that but it was only a partial view so if you’d like a full blown view I think you need to book an ocean front. Overall, extremely happy with everything and I promise you Hilton & Fort Lauderdale, we will come back and see you soon!
莫莫In order to take a rest on the cruise. There is a shuttle bus to the airport, but there is a charge to go to the cruise terminal. Hotel location is relatively biased, only the petrol station convenience store and far away fast food
MMella-CacabelosMy review is a little late but My husband and I with our 2 kids, stayed at the W and we had a great experience. We were there the last week of July. We stayed for 8 days. The hotel is beautiful, very upscale. Lots of amenities. From when we checked in, everyone was super nice. We had a great view of the beach from our Balcony. We stayed on the 21st floor and our floor was very quiet. Our room was very clean, always smelled good as soon as you would walk out of the elevator into the hallways. Hotel was very clean. Our room was always serviced. The room was super nice. Great access to the beach. Valet service was great, everyone was super nice. We did not eat at the hotel though because it was pretty pricey. Overall we had a great experience and definitely would return back to the W in the future.
CCroneNice hotel in great location with direct access to the beach and local restaurants.
Service was OK, the team always seemed to be trying hard to deliver best possible service, only exception was at the Breeze Cafe during the daytime where the lady really appeared to lack interest in being at work.
Wonderful pool area which was surprisingly busy and good atmosphere watching the Fifa World Cup on tvs at the bar.
Room was OK, good facilities. Only criticism was door lock to balcony didn't work and there was a horrendous smell on first day - like a dead animal or wet carpet?. I left the balcony door open whilst in the room to air it out which seemed to resolve it.
ZZIXUStill the kind of hotel I like, but I booked the pier view room of the main building before, but I didn't know that the person who arrived at the front desk said that it was changed to the room in the deputy building. I didn't know what was wrong in the middle, because the room in the main building was confirmed by the reservation again and again and the customer service. But when I checked in, I was ruled by the hotel brother and went to the deputy building. . . The overall environment of the hotel is still OK, 40 minutes walk from the beach, 10 minutes by taxi to the beach, and it is very convenient to leave the cruise terminal. The hotel will provide a car to the pier for 6 dollars. If you do a cruise, booking a hotel must be a good choice. The surrounding dining and supermarket are also more convenient. Overall is OK
QQueenxEchoIt’s a great location but the rooms are very old feeing. It’s infested with cockroaches and the woman at the fent desk (black hair heavy set ) is the owner and she’s always extorting money out of people .. online you can book a room for $85 but u go to her in person she’s charging u $130 and if you check in early she wants $30 extra oh and I’m not checking into my room for 2 hours yet , use the toilet and it floods out my room and she charged me $50. But I’m the one who had to sit around HALF OF FHE DAY WIRH PISS WATER ALL OVER MY FLOORS and the maintenance man coming in and out for 3 hours . I should have been compensated for thr 5 hours of Bull**** but of course she ain’t gonna cough uo on no money. Anyways it’s straight and she takes cash
Very clean, and accommodating, while I had prepaid for the room, and my husband I checked in late, at first they said they were full, but a young lady and the front desk clerk asked us if we needed a sofa bed, and we said no, and the room they gave us sans sofa, was comfortable, clean and perfect for our needs. We appreciated that.
Jjayalong01I stayed here 3/22/24. First off when we came in the esthetics was dated. It looked like they never replaced nothing in 50years. The chairs were peeling, the elevator was scary, there is no lighting for the outside rooms, they didn’t bother to repaint or replace $h!t, and the flooring was terrible. It’s so many things I could name. Then we were spraying things down and found this bed bug, but we only saw the one pictured below so we thought we were good. Baby when I say something ate the hell out of me Allllll night. It ate me like a buffet. I drifted off but something was biting me and I jumped up to a little bug eating my @$$ like the last supper. We checked out that scary piece of scrap metal and brick at 4 in the morning. I am still itching right now! Don’t book here!!!!!!
FFloridaawesome hotel Great friendly staff and very clean property I recommend the hometown studios and suites by Red roof fort Lauderdale FL to everyone
