Glendevin

Glendevin was not what I expected. It was wayyy above. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel so welcome. I had a single room as travelling alone for work - i still had a small double bed - which was so comfy. The room and en-suite were immaculate. Shampoo, conditioner and bodywash all from the local highly regarded, Highland Soap Company were provided. Tea/coffee and treats were provided - always welcome! The breakfast was just amazing - continental and help yourself - which i love but the choices were impressive. I wish I had room to sample everything! In your welcome book, it details not only your usual stuff such as wifi codes etc but also local walks that literally start on your doorstep. I went on the Inchree Waterfall walk and I'm still in awe! As a guest you also allowed to make use of the living room area - very comfy couches and has a massive TV! This is where I met fellow guests from around the world which was great as a lone traveller. There is a restaurant/pub literally a 2 min walk from Glendevin, I ate there the first night and the food and drink was great. A brilliant whisky selection if that is your thing. My one last point to make is that Rebekah (one of the hosts) was just a ray of sunshine - We chatted every breakfast time and she is just such a lovely genuine person that I didn't want to leave. Nothing was too much trouble and she encouraged me to take extra fruit before I left to go to work/journey home. When I'm next in the area, this will be my first point of call 100%. Thanks again
