Ben Nevis Hotel & Leisure Club
"Everything was just nice but the hot water pressure is a bit low"
The Caledonian Hotel
"Very friendly reception. Rooms are a little dated but comfortable and good value for the nights stay. Bed and pillows comfortable. Short drive to town"
Muthu Fort William Hotel
"Nice and friendly hotel. Basic amenities but the breakfast was very good. Shower was very small and difficult to move around."
The Garrison
"The stay would have been better if the main door to rooms was secured or locked and access with keycard."
Alexandra Hotel
"Wonderful location and very friendly staff. Available 24/7. Food is amazing too"
Moorings Hotel
"The location is excellent but housekeeping poor, beds not made plus no mattress protectors on either mattress or pillows, towels not changed even when left on bathroom floor. Personal hair products which weren’t in the bin thrown away , only recompense offered was a glass of wine. Windows need cleaning. Hot breakfast very poor, cold buffet okay. Had to return one evening meal as was inedible, was offered a bowl of soup which I had already chose as my starter. This is not a four star hotel. A very disappointing experience."
Linnhe Lochside Holidays
"Very lovely place, easy to find and lovely staffs. Recommened"
Travelodge Fort William
"Jean at reception was super great to host guest and was centrally located with so good view"
Nevis Bank Inn
"Our stay was a great family experience. The staff were professional, friendly, and very helpful, making us feel welcome throughout. The location is ideal for exploring Glencoe, the Nevis Range, and reaching the Cairngorms, making it a comfortable and convenient base for enjoying the surrounding scenery and outdoor activities."

Glen Nevis Youth Hostel
"Situated at the foot of Ben Nevis, this is perfect for the big one and visiting the surrounding areas. Its spotlessly clean with a very good functional kitchen for all your cooking needs, with lounge area for sitting. It also has a good drying area for your wet gear. The rooms are clean and spacious with good confortable bunkbeds. The place is well managed, well organised and the staff could not have been more helpful. An absolutely brilliant stay."
Hillview Guest House
"I was pleased to be back whilst on my travels. Jo and Jane are wonderful hosts. Rooms are extremely clean. Breakfast is continental style, however lots of choice. Good parking and only a short drive from Fort William. The views of the loch and hills are stunning. Recommended."
Creag Mhor Lodge
"The room was very clean. I was a little nervous beforehand because there were no Chinese reviews available, but the receptionist was very friendly, and I even chatted with her daughter who works in Shenzhen for a while. Overall, it was a very good experience. Breakfast is a mix of à la carte and buffet style. I recommend choosing a superior room; the view is fantastic. The shower water pressure was a bit slow, but it was acceptable to me."
Braeburn Guest House / B&B
The Imperial Hotel
"Great view and location, within walking distance to places. The place looked old but quite clean. However, we got holes in our face towel. The shower was confusing to use. The water pressure was low and wasn't hot enough."
The Base Camp Hotel, Nevis Range
"Very kind and loyal hotel I will recommend for everyone."
Loch Leven Hotel & Distillery
"Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Fort William houses are difficult to book in August. The house I saw online said it was a superior cabin. I really didn't understand the point of the room. When I went there, I realized that it looked like a high-end prefabricated house. About twelve square meters. It’s not like Fifteen square meters as described by Ctrip. As soon as I entered the house, it smelled like sweat. The house was very cold because it was on an open field. There is a heating system, but it heats up very slowly. I heated it until eleven o'clock and it was only twenty degrees. The bathroom was about one level and I couldn't take a shower in it. I slept all night with my clothes on. The key point is that a house like this costs more than 2,200 a night at this time. We booked two rooms for two nights. After sleeping all night, I decided not to stay any longer. The boss doesn't check out. Ctrip thought I was a high-quality customer and refunded 500 yuan to me. I just think it's a big hole. Breakfast in the morning is a la carte with a small amount of buffet. Not tasty. It feels like you made your own sausage. Unpalatable."
Treetops B&B
"What a place. We stayed in the Great Glen review which had the most amazing, massive, comfortable bed with sheets that smelled divine and allowed us to have an incredible 9 hour sleep which was needed before climbing Ben Nevis. JJ gave us some great tips for the rest of our trip and Jo was fab at making sure we had everything we needed at breakfast. The views are amazing and the whole house was modern enough to have everything you needed but cosy enough to properly relax. Thank you for having us! (special shout out to Tigger the gorgeous ginger cat who gave me some lovely fusses after a long day hiking! And Taz the Terrier of course!)"
Ben Nevis Guest House
"We spent two nights here at this family run Bed and Breakfast. Our group were on an adventure trip to ascend Ben Nevis and then start our Great Glen way adventure. I must say everything was excellent. The location of this Bed and Breakfast was ideally located to Ben Nevis, Fort William and the starting point for the Great Glen Way. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, modern, well equipped and comfortable with a well stocked hospitality tray. Breakfast was superb, with choices to suit everyone. There was even a separate drying room available for drying out our hiking gear. The owners Steve and Cathy were wonderful hosts with great local knowledge which was invaluable to us, but above all provided outstanding service and hospitality. Thank you both for making our stay with you a most memorable one for all the right reasons. Highly Recommended."
