DoubleTree by Hilton Fort Worth South Hotel & Conference Center Reviews

I didn't want to book it after reading the reviews, but I booked it because it was on the way. It turned out to be good. I was satisfied with all aspects. The price was cheap. I didn't order breakfast, which cost $25 per serving without tax.

I liked the breakfast buffet. Tiffany the cook was very accommodating. She fixed us breakfast to go after the buffet was closed. We didn't realize that it closed at 10 am. The only negative was the noise from the tractor trailers on Altamesa Street. You should reserve a room on the back side of the hotel, not one facing the street. The king bed room was very clean and nice. We would definitely stay again.

This properly does not have security, our stuff was stolen out of our car. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you care about your safety don't stay here!

I did not like being charged for parking. Very few employees understand English. It is an average place nothing to brag about.

I was very dissapointed that I was charged for parking and I simply parked my car in their vicinity like any other hotel. Not covered nor locked in. Ridiculous and wouldn’t stay again.

The hotel appears to be really nice. There was hair in the pool and every time we would leave our room and go back our key wouldn’t work so we would have to go back and get it redone.

Good place for a family to stay at. Felt safe and comfortable. The lay out of the place is a little out but overall would recommend.

Bathroom had hair in shower and on sink. Bed sheets had an odor, had to request clean sheets and it took over an hour to receive them. They charge $10 per day for parking regardless of you have a vehicle or not on the property but they don't tell you the information until checkout.

This is now second Hilton brands hotel we have stayed in with lackluster results. Property apparently was a Holiday Inn, and was purchased and renovated. While it did feel updated, it felt like it was a rushed job, and not really finished correctly. Exposed wiring on the a/c unit, poor paint work, and just not clean in general. Stayed two nights and the room was never touched by staff. Area of town is not good. Mostly industrial, but it’s a somewhat rough area of Fort Worth. Pretty good drive to get to anything around I-30. Would not stay here again.

The value of this hotel was good. Cleanliness was decent. Staff were nice, pleasant, helpful. The pool area was not so great; the hot tub was currently broken and the pool water looked very murky/dirty. I would also strongly recommend having an adults only last hour of pool and hot tub use, as there were a lot of children in this area that were yelling and extremely loud. Warm (and yummy) cookies upon arrival, which was a nice touch. The biggest issue is that this hotel is extremely close the highway which in turn created a very loud night, all through the night. Additionally, there were a few trees very close to the hotel, one of which was right outside of our window and we heard birds all night long. We had three terrible nights of sleep.

The staff were prompt, very professional and polite during check in. The gentleman who checked me in got me a nice quiet room.

No complimentary breakfast or any signs that indicate breakfast is not in fact complimentary. A bill for $50 for 2 people, with no wait staff or service and a cold breakfast of sausage and eggs is a bit pathetic.. also there was a leak in the bathroom of the room I stayed in

This hotel was not what I expected from a Doubletree. The room that we had to wait until 3pm to get, was dirty & not cleaned properly before we were given keys. The staff, especially management, was unprofessional & unhelpful in general. Will never stay here again!!

I think the water bottles you leave on the credenza by the coffee machine should be complimentary or sold at a reasonable price and the paying for parking should be displayed at time of booking.
