We stayed 2 nights in a “deluxe suite”. I think the best way to describe the Destino Hotel and Hot springs is a work in progress. At present it is really no more than a self catered holiday let. Only reachable in a 4x4, the last 200 metres is over a rocky unpaved road that would cripple a car. On reaching the apartment, you carry your bags up to your lodge via quite a number of stairs. The apartment is a room with kitchen attached, bed is small, a double at best with fairly old style bedding. The bathroom has a spacious shower. The kitchen has a fridge, sink and cooker with utensils for two people. On site there are no facilities, if you want to eat, you go out, or order in from the pizza menu (takes around 60 minutes to deliver). Tours can be organised by Orlando (the owner and who was very helpful, and wants to make your stay a success). However the tours are with external parties and you need a car to get to them. Cleaning, room service and linen were not changed or made up during our stay. Overall, a place to sleep but certainly not a hotel and with limited if any facilities. Overall disappointing.
