Hampton by Hilton Foshan West Station

The hotel exceeded my expectations overall. The room was clean and tidy, with excellent soundproofing, allowing for a peaceful rest. The front desk attendant, a formidable young man, was welcoming and polite, responding very promptly to requests. He was incredibly attentive, and the public areas had an elegant ambiance. The location is convenient for getting around. It's a great choice whether for a business trip or a short stay, and I'll definitely prioritize it for my next visit to the area.

This is by far the most jarring Hilton Garden Inn I've ever encountered. The facilities and environment are excellent, and the staff are wonderful. However, the hallway from the lobby to the guest rooms reeked daily of a cheap, pungent perfume that was almost nauseating. Every time I entered the lobby or the floor corridor, the air was filled with a sharp, sickeningly cheap floral scent, like a strong bug spray or perfume. It immediately dragged the hotel's perceived quality down to sub-basement levels. It felt less like a Hilton and more like some seedy, underground motel in Beijing trying to mask dampness and mildew with an overwhelming smell. The hotel really needs to address this. If the details aren't managed well, even the best brand name is meaningless.

Big kudos to this hotel! The common areas are well-equipped with a printer and business center for business travelers, plus a lounge area with free refreshments. The rooms are fully furnished with smart control panels and a mini-fridge, making it perfectly convenient for long stays. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The room had everything we needed, from fitness equipment to smart devices, and the common areas were just as well-equipped. We felt so comfortable here. The 'cheong fun' at the restaurant was delicious too, and breakfast was especially tasty.

This Hampton Inn, as always, is fantastic. The staff were very enthusiastic and helped me with the check-in process. The hotel's facilities, environment, and cleanliness are all excellent. I have a soft spot for Hampton Inn! 😅
