This is a gem. The hotel is sweet. A mere 2 miles from downtown but they provide free train passes and it is nice to be someplace peaceful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff are amazing, especially Nicole. We speak some German (hubby) but she is multi lingual and so helpful. We had an issue with our bikes being delivered for a Danube ride am and she went above to make sure we knew they would be ok in our absence. The Waldblick is worth exploring. Breakfast is also very good and the restaurant serves dinner and drinks as well.

A traditional German hotel in a very quite place.
A fantastic dinner. The breakfast was excellent.

A beautiful hotel with very nice old decoration. Very cozy. The receptionist who attended us was Spanish and very pleasant. The room was quite comfortable and the restaurant was very good for dinner. I don't know if it's for breakfast too. To repeat

The room was clean but the bathroom was very small and the floor by the bathroom door had a steel edge that hurt when you stepped on it. The room and bathroom were too cold - 19 degrees. You also shivered in the lounge. You couldn't eat dinner or breakfast without a jacket. The dinner was very good but the breakfast was not particularly good. We left early because we didn't like it. The staff tried hard and were very friendly.

The hotel is very old, especially the rooms. But it was clean. The furniture and carpets are very old. The room hasn't been renovated for a very long time. The staff in the restaurant and at reception were friendly. But unfortunately our half board was cancelled, even though we booked it, paid for it and had it confirmed by *******. Rip-off. We didn't want to argue about it so as not to ruin our vacation. But we certainly won't come again.
